Chapter 147 Anomaly Discovered, Countermeasures Discussed (1/2)

The shadowy figure was rummaging through Su Xingran's luggage bag. Su Xingran placed the bag on the footwell of her sleeper berth. She had already put her money and tickets into her spatial storage; the bag only contained clothes and some ordinary daily necessities.

In the darkness, Su Xingran wasn't sure if the person was male or female, or if they were truly a thief or something else. Su Xingran remained silent, and soon the shadowy figure stealthily disappeared.

Su Xingran felt something was strange. If it were a thief who didn't find anything here, they would definitely steal from the next target. But this person only stopped on her luggage bag and didn't even go to rummage through the things on the next bed after leaving.

This unusual behavior put Su Xingran on high alert. After confirming that no one had gotten up, she put the luggage bag into her spatial storage. She then went into her spatial storage to check the luggage bag herself.

Su Xingran found a piece of paper in an envelope in her luggage. After thinking it over, she opened it. What she found inside surprised her.

Inside was a hand-drawn map with the markings of troops stationed on the border of Heilongjiang Province. Su Xing roughly understood from the map that it was a floor plan of the military base. This was a big deal; a floor plan of the military base had appeared here.

Su Xingran knew she had to inform her master and the others about this. After leaving her spatial dimension, she couldn't sleep for the rest of the night. Her mind was filled with thoughts of the blueprints.

The next morning, the passengers on the train gradually got up to eat breakfast. Su Xingran said in a low voice to Xiao Xue, who had just gotten up, "Sister Xiao Xue, I'm going to see the master for a bit and will be back in a little while. You sit here in your berth for a while and don't move around too much, there are too many people."

"Xingran, I understand. Go quickly, I'll wait for you to come back here," Xiao Xue said to Su Xingran with a smile.

Su Xingran pretended to be weak and unwell, and walked to the next carriage. Doctor Huang and Duan Yuming were in this carriage, and Su Xingran walked over and stood in front of their berths.

"Grandpa, Uncle, I don't feel well. My stomach hurts a lot right now," Su Xingran said to Doctor Huang and the others, covering her stomach with her hand and looking uncomfortable.

Seeing Su Xingran approach in such a weak state, Doctor Huang and Duan Yuming were very worried and were about to ask her questions. However, Su Xingran gave them a wink, stopping them from speaking.

Both Dr. Huang and Duan Yuming had spent several years with Su Xingran, so they had a good understanding of each other and immediately got into the zone once they realized what was happening.

"Xiao Ran, where do you feel unwell? Uncle will take you to find a flight attendant to see if there is any medicine that you can take." Duan Yuming got up and prepared to take Su Xingran away.

"Uncle, my stomach hurts, and it keeps rumbling. Please take me to get some medicine, I can't take it anymore." Su Xingran had taken some pills before coming over, and now the effects were starting to take hold, making her condition look even worse.

Duan Yuming led Su Xingran to the flight attendant's cabin and showed her his certificate of special appointment by the national military. "I have some things to take care of and need to use your cabin. Could you please keep an eye on things at the door and let me know if anyone suspicious comes near?"

After reviewing Duan Yuming's certificate, the train attendant nodded, turned, and stood by the door. All sorts of things can happen on a train; these attendants were used to seeing military officers or police officers apprehending criminals on trains.

"Xingran, what happened? Is there something you want to tell us?" Duan Yuming asked Su Xingran in a low voice.

Su Xingran took an envelope out of her pocket. "Uncle Duan, I found this in my luggage bag. Last night, I felt someone going through my luggage bag in the middle of the night, but it was too dark for me to see who it was."
