Chapter 201 Wei Zilin Gets Beaten (1/2)

Around 11 p.m., Gu Moli rode his bicycle out with Su Xingran. A few hundred meters away from the Wei family's small house, Gu Moli found a secluded spot to lock the bicycle.

The two weren't sure if Wei Zilin was inside the house, but since they had decided to take action, they had to find out first. Before leaving, they both went back and changed into black clothes to hide in the darkness.

Perhaps it was a coincidence! Just as Su Xingran and Gu Moli approached the house, a man rode a bicycle wobbling towards them. Gu Moli tugged at Su Xingran's sleeve, signaling her to stop.

Su Xingran felt Gu Moli tugging at her sleeve. She stopped and looked at Gu Moli with a puzzled expression. Gu Moli was a little embarrassed to meet Su Xingran's gaze and pointed ahead.

Su Xingran looked in the direction Gu Moli pointed, and realized she had seen the man in front of her earlier. Remembering Gu Moli tugging at her sleeve and pointing to that man, Su Xingran immediately thought of Wei Zilin, the person she was looking for tonight.

Wei Zilin had drunk some alcohol tonight, and his head was a little throbbing. He wasn't completely drunk; he still retained a sliver of consciousness. He stopped in front of his house, got off his bicycle, and walked unsteadily to the gate.

He pulled a key from his pocket to unlock the front door. Perhaps because it was dark and he was a little drunk, Wei Zilin couldn't get the key to the lock after several tries. He cursed, "Damn it, why can't I open this door?"

In the end, Wei Zilin managed to unlock the door. Before he could push it open, he carried his bicycle inside. As he turned to close the door after carrying the bicycle inside, he was kicked from the front and thrown out.

Before Wei Zilin could react, the door had already been slammed shut. He cursed as he tried to get up from the ground. "Damn it, which bastard attacked me? Does he have a death wish?"

After Su Xingran closed the door, she took out a black mask and a hat from her spatial storage and put them on. She also took out a towel from her spatial storage, walked to Wei Zilin who was lying on the ground trying to crawl over, stepped on his leg, pinched his jaw with her hand, and stuffed the towel into his mouth.

Before Wei Zilin could even understand what was happening, someone stepped on his leg and stuffed a towel into his mouth. He tried to look up in terror to see who it was, but before he could, the person hit him with a stick.

Su Xingran took out a stick from her spatial storage and coldly watched Wei Zilin. Just as Wei Zilin tried to look up, Su Xingran raised the stick and struck him. One strike, two strikes, three strikes... Su Xingran struck Wei Zilin's leg.

A cracking sound rang out as Wei Zilin's legs were broken. Then, another cracking sound followed, and his hands were broken as well. Wei Zilin was in excruciating pain, tears streaming down his face, veins bulging on his forehead, and his entire face contorted in agony.

"Ugh... um... um" sounds came from Wei Zilin's mouth. His mouth was stuffed with a towel, so he couldn't even beg for mercy.

Su Xingran recalled what those thugs had said: Wei Zilin had ordered them to beat her and Xiao Xue severely, just enough to keep them alive. The coldness in Su Xingran's eyes grew stronger. From her past life to this one, she had learned a lesson: being merciful to those who had wronged her was the greatest harm she could do to herself.

Su Xingran didn't think she was acting on behalf of heaven; she was doing it for herself, to punish those who had wronged her. She was a ghost who had died once, able to return from hell to be reborn—why should she wrong herself?

With a "crack," Su Xingran dislocated Wei Zilin's jaw. Wearing gloves, Su Xingran punched Wei Zilin's face repeatedly until his face was completely swollen and unrecognizable. Only then did Su Xingran stop.
