Chapter 210 Xiao Dingyu Meets Wei Zilin (1/2)

A travel-worn man arrived at the Beijing Municipal Police Department's prison. Accompanying him was Wei Zhilun. Wei Zhilun had already greeted the police officers, and the man with him went alone to the cell where Wei Zilin was being held.

Wei Zilin had been sentenced to death and was about to be executed. He was currently locked up in solitary confinement. Lying on a makeshift wooden bed made of a few planks, Wei Zilin heard footsteps outside. The door to his room was unlocked with a key, and someone entered.

Disheartened and numb, Wei Zilin turned his head. He had initially thought it was a policeman bringing food. But instead, a man he had never seen before entered, yet he saw a hint of familiarity in the man's face.

The man walked up to Wei Zilin and looked down at him, speaking in an icy tone: "Let me introduce myself. My name is Xiao Dingyu, and I am the father of Xiao Xue, whom you had beaten. I also have a disgusting, abandoned name that I used before, 'Wei Ziming'."

Wei Zilin's eyes widened suddenly. He had heard of Wei Ziming. Those children from the compound who had clashed with him had said that his mother was a mistress who had forced his father's first wife to her death and driven away her son, Wei Ziming.

Xiao Dingyu looked coldly at Wei Zilin and said in a sinister tone, "You and your shameless mother are just as disgusting. I have never been able to bear to hit my daughter since she was a child. How dare you, you beast, let someone hit her?"

Xiao Dingyu's face was clearly filled with anger as he spoke; if he could, he really wanted to stab this beast to death. Heaven knows how anxious and heartbroken he was when he received Uncle Zhilun's call informing him that Xiaoxue had been beaten. From childhood to adulthood, his two children were the apple of his and his wife's eye; even a small scrape would cause them heartache for a long time.

The couple couldn't bear to hit their child when the child was naughty; they would always reason with the child and guide them towards the right path. When Xiao Dingyu learned that the man who hit his daughter was the son of the woman from the Wei family, he immediately took leave and traveled by train to Beijing.

Xiao Dingyu dared not let his wife, Li Mei, know about this, fearing she would be anxious and saddened to tears. Xiao Dingyu clenched his fist and punched Wei Zilin in the stomach. This punch used all of Xiao Dingyu's strength.

Wei Zilin cried out in pain, feeling as if his stomach was about to be pierced. A fine layer of sweat appeared on his forehead. He tried to hold his stomach with his hands, but his hands were fixed in place with plates after the surgery.

Xiao Dingyu squatted down and asked Wei Zilin, "You feel pain too, right? Have you ever thought about whether my Xiaoxue feels pain or discomfort when you had someone hit her with a wooden stick?"

"I really want to thank the person who broke your arms and legs. You're lucky you didn't die after all that. You're a real menace and a waste of the country's bullet. Oh, and I have some good news for you. That way you won't have any regrets when you're executed."

Wei Zilin had recovered by now, and he heard Xiao Dingyu's gloating tone in his ear. He instinctively felt that the good news Xiao Dingyu spoke of was definitely not good news for him. Wei Zilin was somewhat resistant and didn't want to hear Xiao Dingyu's good news.

Xiao Dingyu saw that Wei Zilin didn't want to hear the news he was about to say. It turned out that this kind of person still had some brains. He knew that what he was about to say was not good. But this beast had no choice but to listen.

Xiao Dingyu calmly recounted the news he had received. "Old Master Wei has been confirmed to have suffered a stroke. From now on, he can only walk with the aid of a cane; without it, he will be unable to walk. Wei Xiongwei has been expelled from the Party and the military for harboring a criminal and has also been sentenced to three years in prison."

"The Wei family has lost two people because of you. These two people were the pillars on which your Wei family depended for survival. I wonder if Old Master Wei and his good son Wei Xiongjie are satisfied that Zhao Lihua's son has ruined their Wei family."
