Chapter 23 Villagers Watching the Show (1/2)

They needed to be treated, but they had to suffer again. When he was giving them acupuncture, he deliberately targeted the most painful acupoints, causing them excruciating pain.

"Second brother, that guy with the disorder injured us. You have to give us an explanation, you have to pay for the medical expenses." Old Man Su, now able to move again, felt powerful and started acting like an elder again.

Father Su ignored him completely. Old Man Su was yelling something. Doctor Huang had gone back to get the medicine, and Huilan was in the room taking care of Ranran. He was there to deal with these people.

Dad, Mom, eldest brother, and sister-in-law, please go home first. I don't have time to entertain you right now, and I can't do or help with the things you've asked for.

Upon hearing what Su's father said, the people in the old house immediately became angry. The eldest son, Su, supporting his thick waist, pointed at his father and said, "Second son, let me tell you, if you don't pay me back today, I'm not done with you."

"Either you beat that crazy daughter to death, or you pay compensation. She even beat up her grandparents, uncle, and aunt. She's absolutely vicious, a born bad seed." Old Su became more and more agitated as he spoke. He had never been beaten like this before in his entire life.

When Su's father heard Su Laoda cursing Ranran as a madwoman and a bad seed, and thought of what Doctor Huang had said about Ranran's depression and excessive thinking, which stemmed from the people in front of him, even his good temper couldn't hold back anymore.

He strode over, grabbed Su Laoda's collar, and dragged him out the door. Although Su's father and Su Laoda were brothers, they were completely different. Su's father was tall and strong like his grandfather, and handsome in his youth, attracting the attention of women from far and wide. Su Laoda, while not bad-looking like his grandfather, was of average height, but his physique was as fat as his wife's.

The eldest son, Su, was being dragged around by his father, staggering about. He shouted, "Mom and Dad, save me! The second son is going to hit me!" That wretched man, in his forties, only knew how to call on his parents when in trouble.

When they reached the front door, Su's father shoved the eldest son out with all his might. The onlookers and gossipers outside were stunned. Had they seen it wrong? The second son, who was usually bullied by the eldest son, had actually dragged the eldest son out the door and thrown him out?

Where did the sun rise today? The honest man actually showed his power. The villagers craned their necks to watch the utterly disheveled Old Man Su.

It was shocking to see that Su Laoda's face was so swollen that his eyes were almost slits. It didn't look like a human face at all; it was clearly a pig's head.

Before the villagers could react, two more people were pushed out. Upon closer inspection, they saw that it was Old Man Su and Old Woman Su, both of whom had the same pig-headed faces as Old Man Su.

"Help!" a woman screamed as she ran out the door, tripping and falling as she crossed it, landing face-first in the open space outside.

Alright, the entire family of four adults came out, all with the same pig-like faces. The villagers gasped; their eyes must be playing tricks on them—either nearsighted or farsighted—otherwise, how could they have seen Old Man Su and Old Woman Su, the eldest son Su and his wife, all driven out of Su Second's house with the same pig-like faces?

Ignoring the surrounding chatter and questions, Su's father stood at the door and said to the four people: "Father, Mother, elder brother and sister-in-law, you came to our door today and humiliated and made things difficult for Huilan and Ranran. I will come back to seek justice for this matter in the future."

Ranran fainted due to the shock. I really don't have time to entertain you, and I don't want Ranran to be shocked by you again. Dr. Huang said that Ranran cannot be shocked again.
