Chapter 97 Su Xingran's Midnight Surveillance: Zhang Yizhu's Plan Begins (1/2)

Gu Moting and the others took the map, and the three of them stood there studying the route. Gu Moting picked up a pen and began to draw the route they had chosen for ascending the mountain.

Soon, three routes converged before us. Look, this is what I just drew. If we follow the route shown above, the final destination will be the place where Xingran drew the picture of the grass gate.

We'll reorganize things when the troops arrive this afternoon. If the final results are consistent, we'll proceed according to this route. Gu Moting summarized.

After returning from town, Su Xingran went to Doctor Huang's house and didn't go home until just before dinner. She had things to do that evening, so she took a shower early and went to her room to rest.

Around 11 p.m., Su Xingran was woken up by an alarm clock she took out of her spatial storage. Su Xingran turned off the alarm clock and put on the night clothes she had taken out of her spatial storage.

The night clothes she was wearing fit perfectly; Su Xingran had asked her mother to alter them. Once ready, Su Xingran climbed over the wall of her house.

Knowing that the Zhang family would definitely be monitoring her, Su Xingran hid in her spatial dimension halfway there. She stopped a short distance from the Zhang family's gate.

She had thought about it very seriously. If the enemy wanted to capture her master, they would definitely contact Zhang Yizhu. Her master was mostly at home except when he went out to treat patients; he had no other activity range.

They couldn't openly arrest their master; they had to do it secretly. Su Xingran considered many possibilities, and she felt that Zhang Yizhu's place was a relatively easy place to make a move.

Su Xingran decided to stay at the Zhang family's place that night until the enemy agents were arrested and controlled. There were two policemen protecting her master inside the house, and there were also people hiding in the shadows protecting her master outside the house.

Su Xingran quickly discovered that the police were hiding in the shadows, monitoring the Zhang family. Around one o'clock in the morning, two men appeared near the Zhang family's residence.

They walked along the Zhang family's property and reached the corner of the outer wall of the house. One of the men picked up a stone from the ground and threw it into the Zhang family's yard.

The stone made a sound as it hit the ground, and after a little over a minute, the Zhang family's gate slowly opened a crack. Zhang Yizhu peeked out through the crack and looked around the entrance. He then opened the gate wider and stepped outside.

The two men saw Zhang Yizhu open the door and quickly walked towards it. Su Xingran, however, had already used the spatial manipulation technique to approach the doorway the moment the two men appeared.

Su Xingran heard Zhang Yizhu beckon the two men into the house. The two men nodded and entered the Zhang family home. Zhang Yizhu walked to the door and looked around. Not seeing anyone passing by, he quickly went inside and closed the door.

The police officers monitoring the Zhang family's residence also became alert and on high alert. The three men lurking in the shadows all stared intently at the Zhang family's main gate.

Su Xingran hid herself directly next to the Zhang family's gate, sitting in the space. She was worried. Although there were people guarding her in the shadows, even the best-laid plans can have flaws. Enemy agents are cunning by nature, and these inexperienced police officers might not be a match for them.

The police in the shadows and Su Xingran, who was hiding, waited until after 4 a.m., but they did not see the two men who had entered the Zhang family come out.

The police sensed something was wrong. They hadn't seen anyone for several hours, and dawn was approaching; the nearby villagers would be up making breakfast. Perhaps someone would spot the two people when they appeared.
