The cafeteria in the building next door is delicious because it's rich in oil and fat.
But Qin Hanshu is currently suffering from an nausea; the thought of the greasy food in the cafeteria makes her feel nauseous.
Instead of eating lunch at the cafeteria, she went to a well-established restaurant on the street Qin Feiyang had taken her to before and ordered a bowl of plain noodles. She didn't go to the second floor but found a corner on the first floor to eat her noodles.
The plain noodles were light in flavor, but not bland at all, just to Qin Hanshu's liking. The weather was already quite cool, and the hot noodle soup warmed her up considerably.
When Qin Hanshu was halfway through her noodles, someone sat down opposite her.
The restaurant's first floor was a casual dining area, and it was lunchtime, so it was crowded and everyone was sharing tables. Qin Hanshu didn't pay any attention at first, not even looking up.
Unexpectedly, the other party spoke up first.
"Xiao Qin, what a coincidence, you're also having dinner at 'Guangdelou'."
Qin Hanshu looked up and greeted, "Director Ye."
Ye Zhongping glanced at Qin Hanshu's bowl and smiled gently, "'Guangdelou's' plain noodles are absolutely delicious, but the portion is small. Is it enough for you?"
"Enough to eat, enough to eat." Qin Hanshu nodded repeatedly.
Ye Zhongping smiled politely and said nothing more.
After a while, he got up and came back with a plate of cold mixed vegetables in his hand. He said to Qin Hanshu in a very natural way, "Little Qin, there are too many cold dishes. I can't finish them all by myself. Let's eat them together."
How could Qin Hanshu possibly eat his food? She originally intended to drink all the soup, but after hearing Ye Zhongping's words, she decided to give up on the soup and leave directly.
"Thank you for your kindness, Director Ye, but I've already finished eating." With that, Qin Hanshu stood up. "Then I'll be going now. Please enjoy your meal, Director Ye."
Ye Zhongping seemed to have only invited her out of politeness, and upon hearing this, he didn't try to persuade her to stay, saying, "Alright, go ahead."

When I got home from get off work in the afternoon, Zhou Weiguang was already cooking.
"Wash your hands and get ready to eat," Zhou Weiguang called out. "Today I made a sauerkraut and vermicelli soup and a stir-fried pork with chili peppers. Try them and see if you prefer the sour or spicy flavor."
Qin Hanshu was a little sensitive and said in a low voice, "What? Do you want to know if I'm having a boy or a girl?"
Zhou Weiguang immediately rushed out of the kitchen and said anxiously, "That's not what I meant! I heard Sister-in-law Fan say that women either crave sour or spicy food... You were so hungry last night, but you didn't eat much noodles with soybean paste, so I was thinking of ways to get you to eat more."
As Zhou Weiguang spoke, he walked up to Qin Hanshu, turned her around by the shoulder, and solemnly said, "It doesn't matter whether you have a son or a daughter, they're all my offspring anyway. I just hope that you can have a smooth pregnancy and not suffer too much."
Qin Hanshu was actually very clear about herself. Pregnancy did affect her emotions, but not to such an extent. She had indeed exaggerated her inner reaction.
Perhaps it's because Zhou Weiguang has always indulged her since they got married, which brought out the willful side of her personality.
When her father was still alive, she was like many little girls, she would act spoiled and throw tantrums, and she longed for the pampering and affection of adults.
After her father passed away, the sentence Yang Aizhen said to her most often was, "You need to be sensible now."
After Yang Aizhen married Hu Dayong, she had no right to be willful and spoiled.
Later, she didn't even know how to be willful anymore.
She felt like she was getting younger and younger after only a few months of marriage to Zhou Weiguang.
Qin Hanshu looked up at Zhou Weiguang, her expression quite bewildered. "Why are you so accommodating to me? Don't you think I'm being unreasonable?"
"Making trouble unreasonable?" Zhou Weiguang was even more bewildered. "How are you making trouble unreasonable?"
Qin Hanshu: "...It's nothing."
Zhou Weiguang looked at Qin Hanshu and suddenly smiled, "You say I'm accommodating you, but I feel like I haven't done enough. My profession is special, which means I can't devote too much energy to the family. You have to go to work, get pregnant and have children, and take care of everything at home... You're the one who has to work hard, my wife."
Zhou Weiguang sighed, "I've already devoted 80% of my energy to my work. If I can't dedicate the remaining 20% to you, then what kind of man am I?"
Qin Hanshu suddenly felt a lump in her throat and quickly turned her head away, but almost made intimate contact with a vertical spatula.
Zhou Weiguang quickly removed the spatula from Qin Hanshu's shoulder.
The two looked at each other and laughed.
"Let me tell you in advance, I have a lot of bad tempers," Qin Hanshu said with a touch of arrogance.
"Being a little temperamental and acting up is considered bad temper?" Zhou Weiguang grinned and chuckled. "I love your bad temper. Be even worse."
Qin Hanshu playfully punched Zhou Weiguang.
This scene was witnessed by Liu Ercui outside the door—Qin Hanshu had left the door open when he returned.
"Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear..." Liu Ercui quickly covered her eyes, "I've come at the wrong time!" After saying that, she made a move to leave.
Qin Hanshu pushed Zhou Weiguang away and called out, "Sister-in-law Ercui, it's alright, come in and sit down."
Qin Hanshu pulled her inside.
Liu Ercui smiled mockingly, about to say something, when she sniffed, "Something in your house is burnt, isn't it?"
Zhou Weiguang realized what was happening and hurriedly ran to the kitchen.
He had some food stewing on the stove, but he forgot about it.
Liu Ercui turned to face Qin Hanshu, her expression complicated, and said, "Sister, you are so lucky to have married such a family-oriented man."
In the past, Qin Hanshu would have been polite, but today she really wanted to praise Zhou Weiguang in front of outsiders.
