Chapter 125 My Heart Skipped a Beat

Yan Xiaonan ignored them. If you're so good-looking, then be good-looking than me. If you're not, then shut up. If you keep spouting nonsense, don't blame me for taking action and destroying you.

Wang Daniu refused to believe it and provocatively shoved Yan Xiaonan—a vicious shove.

Yan Xiaonan looked at Wang Danu, who was taller than her, and sneered. When Wang Danu reached out to push her, Yan Xiaonan dodged to the side.

Then, it quietly stretched out its short legs, tripping Wang Daniu. She fell forward and landed face-first in the dirt.

Seeing Wang Daniu's mouth full of blood, Yan Xiaonan knew her front teeth must have been broken. Humph! Serves her right!

Wang Daniu got up, covered her bleeding mouth, and ran home. When everyone saw Wang Daniu running away, they all scattered. If you can't beat someone, why not run away?

After this contest of strength, the village girls no longer dared to speak sarcastically to Yan Xiaonan, and they all kept their distance from her when they saw her.

Southwest looked around at the little girls who dared not come closer and felt a little helpless. His sister was too good at fighting; even North and South might not be able to beat her.

Everyone learned military boxing together, but Bei Nan only knew how to punch blindly, while Nan Nan could use military boxing to dodge and attack.

I don't want to think about it anymore. Comparing yourself to others is just self-destructive and will drive you crazy.

Following Nan Nan, we ran up the mountain. Finding pheasants was the priority; our older brother was leaving tomorrow.

While the souls of the Southwest were still wandering in their reverie, the Central South began to howl like wolves, their cries clearly indicating the threat of a powerful enemy.

Looking up, they saw a Siberian tiger staring intently at them, which startled them so much that their hearts skipped a beat.

Yan Xiaonan had spotted the Siberian tiger long ago. She really wanted to chat with it, but Southwest was nearby, and she was afraid of scaring him.

The Siberian tiger didn't care about any of that. It leaped right in front of the two of them, and a strong stench ignited the courage in the southwest.

He grabbed a nearby tree branch and started hitting the Siberian tiger, shouting as he did so, "Nan Nan, run! I'll protect you!"

The Siberian tiger was enraged and roared towards the southwest. Zhongnan leaped up and opened its mouth to strike the tiger's neck.

The Siberian tiger opened its blood-red jaws, waiting for Zhongnan to pounce. Yan Xiaonan was furious and rushed over, saying, "You dare to bite my brother!"

The Siberian tiger froze for a moment, then Zhongnan grabbed its neck. Fortunately, Yan Xiaonan arrived in time and made Zhongnan release its grip.

The chaos left Southwest at a loss, and only when things calmed down did he realize that his pants were damn wet.

His legs could no longer support his body, and he collapsed to the ground, still shouting for his sister to run.

Yan Xiaonan was still cursing: "You've got some nerve, daring to scare my brother. Open your tiger eyes and see clearly, this is my second brother."

The Siberian tiger rolled its eyes to the southwest, making the southwestern tiger's scalp tingle. What was going on? Had Nan Nan gone mad with fear? Why was it talking nonsense?

Suddenly, Southwest's eyes widened as Yan Xiaonan took a step and sat on the tiger's back.

The tiger stood up and started running with Yan Xiaonan on its back, with Zhongnan following closely behind.

"Brother, you go home first, I'll go back after playing for a while." Yan Xiaonan's voice disappeared after the tiger's tail flicked.

Yan Xinan panicked: "Nan Nan, wait for me! If I lose you, my dad will beat me to death. I'd rather be eaten by a tiger."

Southwest called out several times, but there was no response. He was so anxious that he wanted to cry. Then Yan Xiaonan appeared. She was holding a pair of tattered pants that she had found in a cave on the mountaintop and threw them to Southwest.

"Brother, hurry up and change, I'll take you on a ride on the tiger's back to tour the mountains," Yan Xiaonan said with a smile.

Seeing that Yan Xiaonan was actually sitting on the tiger, and that the tiger seemed to be feeling really good about itself, Southwest was tempted.

He quickly went to the nearby bushes to change his pants. The pants were too big, so Southwest pulled up a few blades of grass, wove them into a rope, and tied them around the waist.

Even if you really let Southwest sit on the tiger, Southwest's legs will still shake. Yan Xiaonan patted the tiger, and the tiger lay down.

He took Southwest and got on the ride. The tiger stood up and started walking slowly, but then it started running.

Yan Xiaonan gripped the tiger skin tightly, Yan Xinan grabbed Nannan's clothes, and Zhongnan ran beside them. This feeling was just too exhilarating!

Along the way, pheasants and rabbits were startled and scattered everywhere, and wild boars and roe deer also began to run quickly.

Yan Xiaonan directed the tiger to run towards the hot spring, and they could smell the sulfur from afar.

Of course, Southwest also saw some hot springs shrouded in mist. He threw down his basket, took off his shirt and pants, and jumped in wearing only his shorts.

The water in the pool was so warm. Southwest closed her eyes and enjoyed it, feeling so comfortable that every pore on her body relaxed.

Yan Xiaonan asked Zhongnan and Dongbeihu to catch some pheasants and rabbits so they could have a barbecue here today.

She found the matchbox in the pocket of Southwest's clothes. Luckily, it wasn't wet. She gathered some twigs and dry grass and started a fire.

Zhongnan put down a pheasant, and Yan Xiaonan found a machete in his basket. He washed the pheasant clean with spring water, skewered it with a twig, and started grilling it.

Southwest was awakened by the aroma of barbecue. Only then did he realize his stomach was rumbling, so he quickly climbed up.

Yan Xiaonan handed him a large chicken leg. Xinan took a bite and found that the unsalted roasted chicken leg tasted really good, much better than the braised chicken pieces at home.

The two of them, looking as if they hadn't eaten for three days, devoured a pheasant that weighed at least five or six pounds.

"Nan Nan, shall we come again next time?" Xin Nan glanced at the tiger and Zhong Nan lying on the ground not far away, sharing a roe deer.

These two were just fiercely preparing to fight to the death, how come they're so friendly now?

Yan Xiaonan nodded: "Brother, next time you come home from school, bring a pot back from town and we'll put it here so we can make chicken soup later."

“Okay, I’ve saved up three yuan in the past two years. We also have some here in Beinan. Let’s pool our money and buy a pot.”

Yan Xiaonan took out ten yuan from his pocket: "Brother, buy some more bowls, chopsticks, salt and stuff."

Southwest was stunned for a moment. How could Nan Nan have so much money? But then she thought about how much her grandma and parents doted on Nan Nan. Wasn't it only natural that she had money?

"Nan Nan, how could a tiger listen to you?" Southwest finally remembered the question she wanted to ask.

“I don’t know either, but I know what it’s thinking,” Yan Xiaonan replied.

"What is it thinking?" Southwest wondered. Even a tiger can think.

"It felt lonely and wanted to be friends with me." Yan Xiaonan started talking nonsense.

Southwest shook his head. How could a tiger feel lonely and want to be friends with Nan Nan? Nan Nan isn't a tigress.

"Brother, it's getting dark, we should go back." Yan Xiaonan didn't want Southwest to overthink things anymore.
