Chapter 52 Qiao's Mother Causes Trouble Again (1/2)

"Qiao Wanyue, get out here right now!" Qiao's mother stormed out, looking fierce and menacing as if she wanted to kill someone.

Aunt Peach Blossom instinctively stepped in front of Qiao Wanyue, "Liang Xiu, what do you want to do now?"

Qiao's mother looked fierce and menacing. "What did you do to your sister?" Her eyes seemed to want to devour Qiao Wanyue.

Qiao Wanyue found it amusing. "What did I do to her?"

Looking at her nonchalant demeanor, Qiao's mother felt an urge to tear her apart. "On your wedding day, you sent your sister's husband to the police station and refused to sign a letter of forgiveness, leaving her alone in her empty room and being looked down upon by her in-laws."

He deliberately made a scene by delivering the food, hoping to embarrass her in the village and make her look down on by her in-laws.

You actually stood by and watched her fall into the latrine, becoming the laughingstock of the whole village! I'll beat you to death, you unfilial and disloyal daughter!

Heaven knows how furious Qiao's mother was when she heard about what her youngest daughter had suffered.

Qiao Wanyue looked at her mother coldly, her eyes filled with icy intent. "What does her life or death have to do with me?"

Qiao's mother was stunned.

"What did you say."

Qiao Wanyue said, "What does her life or death have to do with me!"

She pushed Aunt Peach Blossom aside and made her stand behind her. "She married into the Yang family willingly. Whether it's good or bad, it's her own choice. Even if she dies in the Yang family, what does it have to do with me?" Her eyes were slightly cold, as if she were looking at a stranger.

It took Qiao's mother a while to react. Her eyes were red, and she gritted her teeth, "You owe me, you owe me for a lifetime."

Her features were distorted, her face was gloomy, and she seemed to be looking at another person through the person in front of her.

Qiao Wanyue often saw her mother looking at her like that. She didn't understand why her biological mother would look at her daughter with such hatred. She had long since accepted the fact that Liang Xiu didn't love her.

She just wanted to know what she owed Liang Xiu.

One life.

It's already been repaid in the past life.

"What do I owe you?"

Liang Xiu suddenly lost control of her emotions, "You owe me a lifetime, no, you ruined my lifetime, you can never repay it even if you are torn to pieces, I hate you, if it weren't for you, how could I have ended up like this today."

Qiao Wanyue was equally baffled by her inexplicable words.

Liang Xiusheng and Qiao Wanyue were treated at the county hospital. She came out quickly, and Liang Xiusheng did not suffer much pain. On the contrary, when she was pregnant with Qiao Shanshan, she almost died from the overwhelming anticipation. It was only because someone invited a top doctor from the provincial capital that she was able to survive.

She married Qiao Sheng, who was the village head. Their life was much better than that of others in the village. They had three sons and two daughters, which was better than some but worse than others.

How did her life get ruined?

Qiao Wanyue didn't quite understand.

"Liang Xiu, is Wanyue your biological daughter?" Aunt Taohua cut straight to the point.

She had long suspected it. Qiao Wanyue and Liang Xiu did look somewhat alike, but some of Liang Xiu's behaviors were unlike those of a biological mother; she was even more ruthless than a stepmother.

Liang Xiu suddenly realized something, and a light suddenly appeared in the emptiness in her eyes.

"What nonsense are you talking about? If she wasn't my daughter, then who was she?" She suddenly became agitated and rushed over to tear at Aunt Peach Blossom's hair. "It was you! You're the one who corrupted my daughter!"

She used all her strength, but Aunt Peach Blossom was no pushover. She punched Liang Xiu directly in the groin, and Liang Xiu suddenly cried out in pain as Aunt Peach Blossom grabbed her hair.

One fatal blow.

She glanced coldly at Liang Xiu. She had only suspected it to begin with, but Liang Xiu's emotions were too strange, and Qiao Wanyue had given birth in a city hospital. If the child had been switched, there was a very high possibility of that.

But this was just her guess, and she dared not tell Wanyue.

"Wanyue, you go home first." Aunt Taohua held Liang Xiu back and told Wanyue to leave.
