Banxia quickly moved towards the hospital on her skateboard: "It deliberately provoked me, I'm going to deal with it!"
If she wasn't mistaken, the voyeur was a zombie, and a zombie of a much higher level than the ordinary zombies outside!
The hospital was only a little over 300 meters away as the crow flies, but there was a very high wall in between. Banxia was too lazy to take a detour, so she used vines to climb over into the hospital.
As soon as she climbed over the wall, dozens of zombies came running after her, drawn by the scent. Too lazy to fight them off, she took out a pistol from her storage space and shot them one by one.
The Devouring Tree followed behind, digging for crystal cores; even a small mosquito is still meat!
It tossed the crystal core into its spatial storage and casually remarked, "The zombies have been fully upgraded; their crystal cores are all level one."
Banxia wasn't surprised; she had discovered it when she was killing zombies before.
This is a large general hospital. The zombie that was spying on us was on the fifth floor of the outpatient building. Banxia glanced at the map at the entrance and made sure she hadn't gone to the wrong place.
The first floor was a pharmacy. Following the principle of not leaving empty-handed, Banxia killed the zombies in the pharmacy and then put all the medicines that looked usable into her space.
Since entering the building, the feeling of being spied on has become increasingly intense.
Banxia was unusually curious; this zombie didn't seem like a level two zombie at all!
"Bang--"
She quickly fired a shot behind her; the bullet grazed the shadow and landed on the wall.
The Devouring Tree jumped off her shoulder: "Banxia, it's a Level 3 zombie!"
It quickly approached the shadowy figure, and Banxia pulled out a gun and fired at the shadowy figure.
Although she couldn't understand why level 3 zombies had appeared so early, she absolutely couldn't let go of the level 3 crystal core!
"Bang--"
The bullet hit the zombie's right leg, and the Devouring Tree took the opportunity to tie the zombie up tightly.
This is a male zombie wearing a white coat, about 1.9 meters tall, with gold-rimmed glasses on his face. Unfortunately, his white eyes and rotting face completely ruined his refined appearance.
Banxia circled the zombie, trying to see what was so special about it.
The zombie in the white coat bared its teeth at her, as if it were very dissatisfied.
The Devouring Tree asked curiously, "Banxia, did you notice anything?"
"No."
Banxia raised her wrist and killed the zombie in the white coat, then dug out the crystal core and threw it to the Devouring Tree.
The Devouring Tree naturally took out a bottle of lake water, washed the crystal core, and threw it into its mouth: "Crystal cores without attributes don't taste good. I still prefer to eat fire-type crystal cores and water-type crystal cores, one spicy and one sweet."
Banxia: "...It will be ready in a few months."
The zombie ability was formed after the third black rain.
The third black rain occurred after the extreme heat ended, and we are still in the first month of the extreme heat.
The Devouring Tree couldn't help but sigh: "The energy from the attribute-less crystal cores is too little. When will we be able to upgrade to level four?"
Although all ability users can absorb the energy of a non-attribute crystal core, the energy is only one-third that of an attribute crystal core.
Banxia remained calm: "No rush, take your time, we're already quite capable."
She took out her Bugatti Chiron Star, fastened her seatbelt, and was about to step on the gas pedal when she suddenly heard a somewhat urgent "meow" from behind her.
"Tian Tian," Banxia loosened her grip on her foot, "did you hear a cat meowing?"
When the news of the pet mutation came out, all the stray cats and dogs on the street were taken home overnight. Logically speaking, there shouldn't be any wild cats left in the city.
The Devouring Tree opened a new bag of potato chips: "Crunch—I heard that—crunch—"
Banxia glanced at it helplessly, thankfully she didn't have the habit of not allowing people to eat in the car.
She unbuckled her seatbelt and got out of the car, where a large orange cat, about the size of a tiger, stood watching her from more than ten meters away.
The two stared at each other for three minutes. The orange cat meowed at her pleadingly, then turned and ran away.
Banxia put the car into her spatial storage and took out a scooter to follow behind the cat.
Although she didn't know where the orange cat was taking her, she didn't sense any malice and felt it wouldn't hurt to go along and see.
Twenty minutes later, Banxia looked at the building in front of her with a puzzled expression: City A's First Zoo.
Why did the orange cat bring her here?
She soon found out the answer.
A fat pear blossom that is injured and unconscious!
However, Banxia only glanced at it once before her eyes were drawn to the cub beside its belly.
A black and white striped cub, no bigger than the palm of your hand, was imprisoned!
Banxia wanted to facepalm. Weren't the black and white dumplings transferred to the Southwest Base and the Northwest Base?
Where did this cub come from?!
The orange cat caught the whimpering black and white ball of fur and brought it to Banxia.
Banxia blinked: "You mean you want me to raise this cub?"
The orange cat rubbed against Banxia's hand and nodded in a human-like manner.
When it went out to find food, it saw this person kill the monster that hurt her best friend. She was so powerful that she could definitely feed the little guy.
Banxia: ...
She didn't know what to say for a moment.
The black and white dumpling was not yet a month old. Its eyes were tightly closed, and it was pitifully curled up in a ball, whimpering.
Banxia twitched her lips, took out a basket from her space, thought for a moment, then took out a cotton T-shirt and laid it inside, before putting the black and white dumplings inside.
How do you raise such a tiny baby?
She recalled a video she had seen a long time ago: milk in a basin, steamed corn bread, bamboo...
So what kind of milk is "penpen milk"? Is it cow's milk, goat's milk, or some special formula milk powder?
Banxia suddenly felt the basket in her hands was incredibly heavy, and she said to the orange cat, "Kitty, I don't know how to raise kittens, can I give it back to you?"
