Chapter 66 The Death of Xin Chong

The interior of the base was extremely dark; you couldn't even see the way.

But this is not a problem for Banxia. Her night vision is now no worse than that of cats and dogs before the apocalypse.

She glanced at the sign and walked towards Area A.

According to He Fang, the entire Area A is inhabited by Xin Chong and his men, and ordinary people cannot get close.

At the intersection leading to Area A, stood two watchmen, a man and a woman, dressed in green military uniforms. They had pistols at their waists and cleavers in their hands.

Banxia's right hand sprouted vines that grew wildly, instantly strangling the two unconscious without making a sound.

Her targets were only Xin Chong's family of three and that lackey; she wouldn't bother killing anyone else unless they attacked her first.

She stored the weapons from the two men into her spatial storage, then took off the woman's clothes and put them on, before swaggering into Area A.

As for the two unlucky guys, she naturally gagged them, tied them in a tight knot, and threw them into the small restaurant next door.

In less than half an hour, Banxia arrived in front of No. 99.

The two, working in perfect harmony, broke the lock, knocked the sleeping Xin family of three unconscious, and stuffed them into the container in the space.

The Devouring Tree rummaged under Xin Chong's bed and found two boxes: "Pinellia ternata, crystal cores, and weapons."

Banxia glanced at it casually: "Put it in my storage space first, and I'll look at it when I get home."

The Devouring Tree chuckled: "The boxes are heavy; there must be quite a few of them."

Banxia waved her hand and packed everything in the house into her space. Then she knocked out the lackey living in No. 98 and stuffed him into her space as well. Only then did she and the Devouring Tree return to the ground by the same route.

The Devouring Tree couldn't help but complain, "These two families are so poor; they don't even have enough supplies to last a year."

Banxia understood why. Xin Chong was playing the role of a savior who was working hard for the future of mankind. How could he possibly swagger around and embezzle supplies?

His true ambition will only be revealed when he has enough power and enough lackeys.

She took a truck out of her spatial storage, put all the supplies she found at Xin Chong and his lackey's house into it, and added enough rice and flour to last them a year before taking the Devouring Sky Tree back to the basement where He Fang was tied up.

He Fang had already untied the rope, but she didn't leave; she was still waiting in the same spot.

Seeing her return, his eyes lit up immediately: "You've come to keep your promise?"

Banxia tossed her the ID card and keys: "The stuff is on the street where I knocked you out, in that red truck."

After saying that, she ignored He Fang's reaction, stepped off on her skateboard, and left. She couldn't wait to end the lives of the Xin family of three!

Banxia found an empty building, dealt with all the zombies inside, and then threw the Xin family and their lackey out of the space.

The Sky-Swallowing Tree rubbed its branches and asked expectantly, "Should I wake it up with water?"

Banxia calmly shook her head: "Water resources are precious, they don't deserve it!"

As soon as he finished speaking, four stones, each twenty centimeters in diameter, appeared out of thin air and smashed into the stomachs of Xin Chong and the other three, creating dents in their bellies.

Xin Chong and the other three instantly regained consciousness, too pained to speak.

Xin Chong coughed up a mouthful of blood mixed with fragments of internal organs: "Who...who are you?"

Banxia took out an axe from her spatial storage and said with a grin, "The one who will take your life."

Xin Chong's eyes narrowed, his heart filled with resentment and unwillingness.

After learning about the apocalypse, he secretly instructed his father and brother to stockpile supplies, preparing to seize power and dominate the world amidst the chaos. However, his father and brother were slaughtered overnight, and even the supplies they had stockpiled disappeared without a trace.

His political enemies seized the opportunity to steal his chance to go to the official base, leaving him to stay in the abandoned City A.

He thought his life would end like this, but then a zombie virus appeared out of nowhere, and his military leader, who had opposing political views, turned into a zombie!

With his kind-looking appearance and eloquent tongue, he fooled a group of honest soldiers into risking their lives to save survivors and quickly establish a base with several thousand people.

This base should have been the starting point for him to become king and dominate, but who knew that he would be kidnapped without even realizing it!

Those bunch of useless trash!

Xin Chong stared at Banxia with eyes wide with rage: "Who exactly are you?"

My body felt cold, my head felt dizzy, and every breath I took caused excruciating pain all over my body.

He knew he was doomed, but he would not die content until he found out who this person was!

Banxia wouldn't answer his questions; if she could be reborn, what if others could too?

"Hehe, I won't tell you!" She tilted her head. "But I can tell you another secret: I killed your biological father, your biological brother, and your niece!"

"You, you..."

Xin Chong fainted from anger.

Banxia raised an eyebrow and smashed a brick onto Xin Chong's little bird.

This person must have forced many good-looking men and women to sell their bodies in his past life, so he might as well just get rid of this thing.

"Ah!" X4

When Xin Chong burst into tears, his son, wife, and henchmen were also startled and screamed.

Banxia conjured another brick out of thin air: "What's the rush? It's your turn next!"

Xin Chong's son and his lackeys are no better; they're birds of a feather, and she won't let them get away with it easily!

"Bang—" X2

The two men's little birds were smashed on the head with a brick.

Banxia looked at Xin Chong's wife, Sun Ping: "It's your turn next."

Sun Ping is fair-skinned and plump, and looks very approachable, but beneath that face lies a heart of a venomous snake.

Xin Minmin's methods were most likely learned from her, and all the bribes Xin Chong received before the apocalypse passed through her hands.

Sun Ping's eyes widened like a furious lion: "Kill me if you dare, otherwise I'll make you wish you were dead!"

"Oh," Banxia chopped off her hands with an axe, "Don't worry, you'll be dead soon!"

A series of dense zombie footsteps came from outside. She quickened her pace and turned the people into human pigs.

A family should always die in the same way, in a neat and orderly fashion!

She climbed to the window and sat down, using vines to open the door. A group of zombies immediately rushed into the room, grabbing the few lumps of flesh that were still alive on the ground and eating them voraciously.

Several zombies, unable to get any flesh or blood, headed straight for Banxia by the window.

Banxia frowned in annoyance, and the vines instantly killed several zombies.

Xin Chong, his family of three, and his lackey were quickly gnawed down to their skeletons. Banxia killed all the zombies, took out a bucket of diesel oil, poured it on the white bones, and lit it with a lighter.

She liked the phrase "crushed to ashes".

The moment the fire started, she followed the vines back to the ground.

"Banxia," the Devouring Tree's voice was filled with solemnity, "there's something spying on us from that hospital across the street!"
