Chapter 44 I Have No Children

Zhong Yan never imagined that one day she would be reduced to crawling through a window to get out, and her resentment towards Jiang Xiaochen deepened even further.

Qin Huai was a little embarrassed. He had asked her to come out with him, but she ended up climbing out the window with him.

"How are you?"

"It couldn't be better." As Zhong Yan spoke, she gasped, as if the wound on her back had been torn open again. Those damned ghost dolls, if she encountered them again, she would not let them off easily.

But can it really be done?

Zhong Yan pouted, feeling somewhat wronged. If only she could be so blindly retaliatory, refusing to distinguish right from wrong. But seeing them reminded her that those guys were innocent.

The truly guilty party is the person behind it all.

"Let's go find Wang Yan."

"Uh, this isn't appropriate, is it?" Qin Huai scratched his hair, feeling a little helpless. He seemed to have made a mistake by bringing her out, which wasn't a good thing.

Her safety is the top priority.

Zhong Yan rolled her eyes at him, her little eyes looking fiercely cute: "Didn't you say you'd come with me? What, you've changed your mind? Fine, I'll go by myself then."

Qin Huai fell silent, weighing the two options, and decided it was better to follow her; otherwise, who knew what that girl might do?

The moment Zhong Yan saw Wang Yan, she felt an urge to tear her apart.

Is she still a mother?

Wang Yan acted as if nothing was wrong, holding a bottle of wine and living a life of debauchery. Her demeanor was utterly wanton, alluring, and shameless.

"Hiccup, Zhong Yan?"

"Teacher Wang, I have something to tell you." Zhong Yan suppressed her discomfort and said, word by word, "Come out with me first."

"Hehe, where are you going?" Wang Yan exhaled lightly, her breath reeking of alcohol. "Wait a minute! Zhong Yan, you're actually going to a bar? Look at you, still a student..."

"Qin Huai, do me a favor." Zhong Yan grabbed him and dragged him out. She was here to find information, not to chat with him.

Besides, Wang Yan is not fit to be a mother, let alone a teacher.

I even wanted to teach her a lesson...

Zhong Yan was dissatisfied. While supporting her, she didn't forget to pinch her hard. Anyway, women like that have no heart.

"Tell me, where did you take those children?"

“What child? I don’t have a child.” Wang Yan’s movements stiffened slightly, a fleeting emotion quickly passing between her brows, but she suppressed it immediately: “Zhong Yan, are you confused? I’m not married yet.”

"Not married?" Zhong Yan's eyes were mocking, her brows full of disdain. "Do I need to remind you who that person who's always rolling around with you is? Wang Yan, I'm not here to waste my breath on you. You'd better tell me where those kids went after they were aborted."

Wang Yan was stunned, seemingly not expecting that the other woman knew so much about her affairs, and for a moment, she didn't know how to respond. Her secrets had always been well hidden.

"Still not talking?" Zhong Yan muttered to herself, then suddenly sneered, "Wang Yan, haven't you noticed how much lighter you feel lately? Let me tell you, that's because your children are no longer attached to you. They've turned into vengeful ghosts, waiting to take your life at any moment..."
