These past few days.
Wu Changfeng focused his energy on the branch company.
They also didn't pay attention to Huo Jiaqi's research progress on bladeless fans.
The branch office staff's work has already begun to show results.
The contract we got back from CCTV played a huge role.
Initially, many television stations were very interested in Wu Changfeng buying up prime time slots for advertising.
But as soon as I heard it would be settled monthly, I immediately lost all interest.
At this point, CCTV's contract became the endorsement that facilitated the transaction.
Nearly 80 percent of advertising media outlets have agreed to settle advertising fees on a monthly basis.
This saved Wu Changfeng a lot of money.
According to preliminary calculations, approximately thirty media outlets will complete their advertising campaigns in the near future.
After settling the advertising matter, Wu Changfeng immediately went to the research institute again.
"How's the research going?" Wu Changfeng asked.
Huo Jiaqi's desk was covered with various drafts and technical data.
He rubbed his eyes: "The preliminary design has been completed. The next step is to order raw materials, manufacture the product, and then find problems, especially the aperture and the propeller-shaped engine base."
"This requires repeated experimentation to find the most suitable configuration."
Wu Changfeng nodded.
"Let's put this matter aside for now. Let's design a blueprint for this thing."
Huo Jiaqi took the drawing handed to him by Wu Changfeng.
Then I looked at the instructions.
"A self-heating sealing machine?" Huo Jiaqi asked.
“Yes.” Wu Changfeng said, smoking a cigarette. “I need it urgently. You have all the plastic cups. Just make them according to that standard.”
Huo Jiaqi touched his nose: "It's not complicated. The main problem is with the heating device. If it's too hot, the cup will melt, and if the temperature isn't high enough, it won't seal properly."
"Yes, simple and easy to understand."
Huo Jiaqi scratched his head: "Then I'll pay part of the cost. I need to buy resistance wire, electrical switches, steel pipes, and so on."
Wu Changfeng shook his head: "No, go to Tsinghua University and find mechanical engineering students. First of all, their resources are readily available."
"Secondly, we should try to interact with the students more."
"Thirdly, we don't let them work for free; we pay them design fees so they feel that they can earn money while studying!"
Huo Jiaqi responded with an "oh".
Wu Changfeng continued, "Look, you've been working on bladeless fans all by yourself these past few days. Why don't you find some interested classmates to work on it together?"
"How much money can you get from providing food and drink? We'll give you more money after the research is completed. Don't take money too seriously; money is only real when it's spent."
Huo Jiaqi chuckled: "I'll change my approach to work from now on."
Wu Changfeng patted Huo Jiaqi on the shoulder: "Get the sealing machine blueprints out as soon as possible."
Leave the research institute.
On my way back to the company, someone called.
It is Director Xue from Shenshui Province.
He informed Wu Changfeng that the Shenshui Heavy Machinery Plant had already shipped 150 transport trucks to the Cangxi Iron Mine.
The current situation is awkward.
The mine manager refused to accept it, so the equipment was left on a trailer, and the daily cost was considerable.
Let Wu Changfeng come up with some ideas.
When Director Xue said he was "offering suggestions," he was actually just being polite.
To put it bluntly, it's time for you, Wu Changfeng, to make your appearance.
No empty promises, no boasting.
Get this sorted out quickly; it's really frustrating to have it unresolved.
After all, this also involves the ulterior motives of Wu Changfeng and Director Zhao of the steel rolling mill.
Wu Changfeng did not refuse and agreed to arrive at Cangxi Iron Mine three days later to stand up for Chenshui Heavy Machinery Factory.
Just before hanging up, Director Xue asked again, "Give me the bottom line: how exactly do you get Mine Manager Ren to willingly accept the equipment and cooperate with the industrial experiments?"
Wu Changfeng, however, said carelessly, "I haven't decided yet. I'll make a decision when I get there."
Director Xue: ...
Wu Changfeng immediately hung up the phone; continuing the conversation would just turn into a wrangling match.
Wu Changfeng was confident because he had heard of this iron mine in his previous life.
But it wasn't iron ore that was famous; rather, something else was more famous than iron ore.
Otherwise, he wouldn't have taken on so much responsibility. The only question is whether he can outmaneuver Director Ren.
Only after a real, hard-fought battle will things become clear, and even the outcome of the battle be determined.
Back at the company.
After so many days of operation, Wu Changfeng finally heard some exciting news.
Yu Qingmu handed Wu Changfeng a piece of paper with a smile on it, on which some information was recorded.
Name, phone number, and home address.
"Someone actually called to inquire."
Wu Changfeng laughed: "Isn't that obvious! If the advertisement doesn't work, I won't pay a single penny!"
Wu Changfeng glanced at the registration information and asked somewhat displeased, "Who received this person?"
Yu Qingmu said, "Li Quan."
"Summon them."
A short while later, Li Quan entered the office, bowing and scraping.
He was a middle-aged man who used to work in a township enterprise, but the enterprise went bankrupt not long after, so he had to find another way to make a living.
Wu Changfeng leaned back in his office chair and asked, "Li Quan, right?"
"Boss, yes, it's me."
Where are you from?
Li Quan said softly, "I'm from Dongshan. I came here to make a living and joined our company."
Wu Changfeng threw the registration form back at Yu Qingmu, then gave her a stern reprimand: "You are the company's vice president. We didn't invite you here to keep the company from making mistakes, but to improve performance and enhance the professionalism of our employees."
Yu Qingmu felt bewildered. Why was a gun pointed at me?
What wrong have I done?
Wu Changfeng tapped the information sheet: "What questions did the customer raise, and how were they answered? Why isn't this kind of information available?"
