Chapter 9 won't affect my drinking.

Section Chief Liu scoffed, "Just wash it and that's it? If that were the case, why would the Japanese engineers charge $100,000 for repairs? Nobody's a sucker!"

"It's just a lucky guess. Let's see how long you keep messing around."

"At that time, our Linxi Coal Mine will lose face internationally!"

"The first impression is one of mutual distrust, and this is a crisis management issue!"

"Sigh, the feud is already set in stone. Luckily, I have a good relationship with them. The task of smoothing things over will have to be left to me, Mine Manager, don't you think?"

"Old Liu, if you think Linxi Coal Mine can't accommodate you, you can always try to get in through the Mining Bureau. Don't you have someone backing you up?"

Mine Manager Huo's face darkened as he continued his tirade: "Shutting your head around underground, aren't you afraid of getting coal dust stuck in your throat!"

The two were at loggerheads, their bickering annoying.

When Wu Changfeng had no time, he watched the workers clean the valve assembly.

A short while later.

The black, gelatinous substance was washed out.

The repairman was taken aback, picked up a small piece, and asked with a puzzled look, "What is this thing?"

“You’re asking me? I’ll tell you if you pay my tuition,” Wu Changfeng replied.

The repairman scoffed, "What's it to me! Do whatever you want, it won't affect my drinking."

"Good idea." Wu Changfeng gave a thumbs up: "Install it."

Reinstall the valve core, push the valve assembly back in, and then reinstall the removed hose.

Wu Changfeng nodded. "Power on, start."

Section Chief Liu continued his taunts: "All done fooling around? I'd like to see how you laundered $100,000!"

"If you make a fool of yourself, don't blame me for using harsh language!"

Director Huo pulled Wu Changfeng aside and whispered, "Are you confident? I've staked everything on you!"

"What do you mean?" Wu Changfeng was stunned.

What bet did you two make behind the scenes?

The mine manager's brows radiated a menacing aura.

"If you can fix this, I'll fire that Liu guy right here and now! He's bad at his job, his leadership is terrible, he doesn't teach his subordinates properly, and his team is undisciplined."

"Anyway, I'm going to use this as an excuse to take him down! Even having connections above me won't save me!"

Wu Changfeng smiled and nodded: "Then congratulations to the mine manager on his successful start and the first victory."

Just you wait and see!
