Chapter 4 Elves

Song Yiren gritted her teeth in anger and followed him, saying, "You mean I have no medical ethics, and you are the most noble, right?"

Su Jinyue ignored Song Yiren's shouting, endured the pain, and jumped towards the bed on one foot.

Seeing this, Song Yiren became even angrier and stepped forward to block Su Jinyue. "How did I offend you? Tell me."

Song Yiren suddenly blocked Su Jinyue's way. She had no time to stop and her body swayed several times before she could barely stand firm. She looked at Song Yiren with a cold face and said, "I'm just speaking the truth." Song Yiren now is not as sinister and vicious as she was in her previous life. But when she thinks of her previous life, she can't help but feel disgusted with her.

"I don't accept this excuse. We grew up together, and I know you best. You've been indifferent to me these past few days. If you had no problem with me, you wouldn't treat me like this. Now give me a reason, or we'll just keep wasting time like this."

"No reason." Su Jinyue looked at Song Yiren.

"I don't believe it." Song Yiren said in disbelief.

"That's your business." Su Jinyue said indifferently.

"Then let's just wait and see how long you can endure." Song Yiren glanced at Su Jinyue's injured leg. She still cared about Su Jinyue very much, otherwise she wouldn't care how she treated her.

Su Jinyue turned around and jumped outside. She had no strength left and was about to fall if she didn't find something to hold on to.

Song Yiren stepped forward quickly and blocked Su Jinyue's way again. She had to get an answer today.

Su Jinyue stopped and because she had no strength left, she swayed and fell to the ground. Seeing that the jade bracelet on her wrist was about to hit the ground, she quickly bent her arms.

"Ah!" Her elbow made a fierce contact with the ground, and she almost cried in pain.

"Jinyue!" Song Yiren hurried forward, reaching out to help Su Jinyue up. She already regretted being angry with Jinyue. Jinyue was already injured, and now her elbow must have been seriously injured.

"Don't touch me!" Su Jinyue's face was wrinkled in pain, and cold sweat kept oozing out of her forehead.

"I'm sorry! I...I just want to make peace with you." Song Yiren knew she was wrong, but it was too late to regret now. It seemed that Jin Yue would ignore her even more from now on.

Su Jinyue took a while to relax and felt much better. She endured the pain and slowly got up from the ground. She glanced at Song Yiren coldly and jumped towards the bed, stopping after every step.

The skin on her elbow was broken, and blood slowly flowed down her elbow and dripped onto the jade bracelet on her wrist. The jade bracelet flashed a barely detectable white light.

Su Jinyue felt a little cool, but she didn't care too much. At this moment, she just wanted to go back to bed and rest.

Song Yiren knew that Su Jinyue was angry, so she sighed and turned to walk out.

After finally reaching the bed, Su Jinyue held on to the bed and gasped for a while. She gritted her teeth and endured the pain as she slowly climbed onto the bed. It was usually a simple action, but now it took her a lot of effort.

Leaning weakly on the bed, Su Jinyue rested for a while, raised her hand and looked at her injured arm, only to see that it was covered in blood and a piece of skin had been knocked off.

Song Yiren walked in and placed the alcohol cotton, medicine powder, gauze, scissors, and adhesive tape in front of Su Jinyue. She looked at Su Jinyue with guilt and walked out. She wanted to help Jinyue treat the wound, but she knew Jinyue's temper and she would never let her do it.

Su Jinyue pursed her lips as she looked at the pile of medicines and tools in front of her. After a long moment, she picked up an alcohol cotton pad to disinfect her wound. She didn't need to be so hard on herself.

She wiped the blood off the wound and her arm with an alcohol cotton pad, sprinkled some medicine powder on it, and wrapped it with gauze, treating the wound skillfully. After so many years as a doctor, such a minor injury was naturally not a problem for her.

After treating the wound, Su Jinyue looked at the jade bracelet on her wrist and gently stroked it. She didn't care whether she could find her family or not; she just subconsciously protected the jade bracelet.

A hint of coolness penetrated her fingertips, and Su Jinyue looked at the bracelet in surprise. It turned out that it was not an illusion.

"Master!" a tiny voice sounded.

"Who?" Su Jinyue looked around but didn't see anyone in the room.

"Master, I am the elf in the jade bracelet." The voice sounded again.

Su Jinyue was startled and quickly closed her eyes and lay down. It must be an illusion. How could there be an elf in the jade bracelet? It seemed that she needed to have a good sleep.

"Master, this is not an illusion. It was your blood dripping into the jade bracelet that woke me up." said the elf.

Su Jinyue's mind flashed back to the scene of her last meeting with Song Yiren in her previous life. Could it be that the golden light in Song Yiren's eyes was related to the jade bracelet?

"Yes, Xiao Yao has a cultivation method here. After practicing, the master's eyes will not only be able to see through things, but as the level increases, they can also control the actions of others."

"You know what I'm thinking?" Su Jinyue said in shock.

"The little demon has been bound by blood by the master, so naturally we are in tune with each other. If the master does not want the little demon to know your thoughts, you can block the little demon."

"How to block it?" Su Jinyue asked.

"Just say 'ling' to the little demon. If the master wants to remove the shield, just say ling twice."

"Spirit!" Su Jinyue tried hurriedly, then called out the little demon a few times in her heart, but the little demon did not respond.

"Ling! Ling!" Su Jinyue removed the shield and called out to the little demon again.

"Master!" This time the little demon responded immediately.

"This is truly amazing!" Su Jinyue exclaimed in admiration. She had originally thought that stories about gods, ghosts, and spirits were all made up, but now, after experiencing it herself, she began to believe it somewhat.

"Xiao Yao, how do I practice the technique you just mentioned?" Su Jinyue asked, thinking of Xiao Yao's previous words. Only when she became powerful would her fate not be controlled by others.

"Master, concentrate your mind. I will teach you how to practice."

"Yes!" Su Jinyue quickly did as she was told.

"This cultivation method is divided into five levels: Wisdom Eye, Heart Eye, Mysterious Eye, Spirit Eye, and Heaven Eye. As the level increases, the master can not only know the fate of others, but also kill people without being seen."

Su Jinyue was excited, "I didn't expect that there would be such a magical skill in the world." And she was lucky enough to get it.

"The method of cultivating the Wisdom Eye is very simple. Master, you just need to concentrate your mind and I will inject spiritual energy into your eyes."

"Aura?" She had only heard of oxygen and air.

"It's the chill that the master just felt. But my spiritual power is limited, so you have to rely on yourself from now on." said the little demon.

"Then how can we obtain spiritual energy?" Su Jinyue asked.

"Look for spiritual objects that contain spiritual energy, such as jade, ginseng, and Ganoderma lucidum."

"I understand. Let's start." Su Jinyue concentrated her mind. She couldn't wait any longer.
