Chapter 574 Help

"Excuse me, what would you like to order?" A girl with short hair walked up to Su Jinyue and asked.

Su Jinyue picked up the menu on the table and took a look. "Just give me a pot of tea."

The short-haired girl was slightly stunned. "Are you sure you only want a pot of tea?" It was the first time she saw someone enter a restaurant and only order a pot of tea.

"Yeah!" Su Jinyue nodded.

"Okay, wait a moment." The short-haired girl said and walked towards the service desk.

After a while, she came over with a pot of tea and placed the pot and cup in front of Su Jinyue. "If you need anything else, just call me."

"Okay." Su Jinyue picked up the teapot on the table and poured herself a cup. She took a sip and found that although the tea was a little bitter, it was not unpalatable. This was a foreign country after all, and it was not easy to drink high-quality Chinese tea here. To have this taste was already quite good.

At this time, two tall foreign youths walked in.

Seeing this, the short-haired girl hurriedly came forward and said, "Welcome!" Chinatown is not all populated by Chinese people. There are also many Americans who come here. The consumption here is relatively low, especially Chinese food, which is very popular among some young people.

"We're looking for the delivery guy, is he here?" Henry asked.

"He went to deliver a takeaway. What do you want to talk to him about?" asked the girl with short hair.

"We'll settle the score with him," sneered Bosch.

"Settling accounts? What accounts?" asked the short-haired girl in confusion.

"This has nothing to do with you." Henry walked to an empty seat and sat down.

Bosch followed and sat down.

Su Jinyue glanced at the two of them and drank her tea leisurely. She didn't care what the two of them wanted from Wei Qingyun, as long as she was there, she wouldn't let anyone hurt Wei Qingyun.

Wei Qingyun walked in carrying a takeout box. Seeing Henry and Bosch sitting nearby, he threw the box on the ground and ran out. Yesterday, while delivering food, he passed through a small alleyway and saw several young Americans harassing a Chinese girl. He stepped forward to help. He punched one of the young Americans in the nose, causing it to bleed, and knocked out two teeth in another.

Seeing this, Henry and Bosch immediately chased after Wei Qingyun.

Wei Qingyun ran into the alley behind the restaurant and tried to escape by climbing over the wall, but three young men suddenly appeared in front of him, and together with Henry and Bosch who caught up with him, they blocked his way forward and backward.

Wei Qingyun frowned and prepared for battle. It seemed this fight was unavoidable.

"Kid, you hit someone and then you run away? How could you possibly get away with that?" Henry sneered. She'd suffered a loss at the hands of this kid yesterday, and today she'd specially called three of her boxing friends over to teach him a lesson. He didn't believe it would be the same today.

"Let's go ahead and knock out a row of his teeth."

"And the nose." Several people said and rushed towards Wei Qingyun.

Just as Wei Qingyun was about to fight back, he heard a cheerful voice, "Five against one is truly shameless."

The people who were rushing towards Wei Qingyun stopped and looked at the newcomer.

Su Jinyue walked towards the few people slowly, as if she was strolling in a garden, with a leisurely look on her face.

"Go away!" Henry snorted coldly.

"If you don't leave, don't blame us for being rude to you." One of the young men raised his bean bun-sized fist and threatened.

"Leave quickly, it's dangerous here." Wei Qingyun said. This was his business, and he couldn't let innocent people get involved.

Su Jinyue curled her lips and smiled, then walked up to Wei Qingyun under everyone's surprised gaze. "I haven't fought for a long time. I want to stretch my muscles. How about giving me a chance?"

"This isn't a joke. Leave now," Wei Qingyun frowned. The three young men on the other side were obviously martial artists, and besides, this matter had nothing to do with her at all. She didn't understand why she wanted to get involved.

"Don't worry about her, let's go!" Henry waved to his companions.

Wei Qingyun knew it was too late to persuade Su Jinyue to leave, so he stepped forward and wanted to pull Su Jinyue behind him.

The next moment, his hands froze in place, and he looked at Su Jinyue in disbelief. He didn't even see clearly as the people who rushed up flew backwards, piled up on top of each other like a pile of Arhats.

Su Jinyue clapped her hands, turned to look at Wei Qingyun who was still standing there in a daze, and waved her hand in front of him, "Come back to your senses!"

Wei Qingyun came back to his senses and looked at Su Jinyue with bright eyes, "Do you know Kung Fu?"

"I know a little." Su Jinyue curled her lips.

In his previous life, Wei Qingyun was elegant and refined, with a scholarly air all over his body. But now, Wei Qingyun has dark skin and a slim figure, giving people a healthy and clear feeling.

Seeing Su Jinyue looking at him, Wei Qingyun's face turned slightly red, but it was not obvious because of his dark skin.

Wei Qingyun cleared his throat, "Why are you helping me?"

"Because you helped me." Su Jinyue smiled lightly, "Let's find a place to talk."

"Oh, okay." Wei Qingyun nodded and followed Su Jinyue, looking at her with deep thought in his eyes. He was sure that he had never seen Su Jinyue before.

"Which restaurant here is quieter?" Su Jinyue asked.

"They are all about the same?" Wei Qingyun glanced at Henry and the others.

"It's okay, he'll wake up in a while. Which restaurant here is quieter?" Su Jinyue looked at Wei Qingyun.

"They're all about the same." Wei Qingyun said.

"Then let's find a quieter cafe." Su Jinyue smiled and walked forward.

"But I still have to go to work, I only have half an hour." Wei Qingyun said, thinking of his work.

"Then half an hour." Su Jinyue said. There were some things she had to ask him before making a decision.

The two of them came to a coffee shop next to the park. The owner of this coffee shop is American. Most of the shops on Chinatown are run by Chinese, but there are also one or two American shops mixed in. These Americans prefer Chinese culture and choose to open shops in Chinatown because they want to learn more about Chinese culture.

The cafe has a quiet environment, with relaxing light music playing on the speakers, and the rattan chairs suspended by vines, which are leisurely and comfortable.

Su Jinyue and Wei Qingyun sat down at the window seat.

"Would you like some coffee?" Su Jinyue asked.

"Boiled water and I'll be fine," Wei Qingyun said. He only had enough money for a cup of coffee. Although he felt a little reluctant, he thought it was only right that she had helped him.

Su Jinyue smiled, closed the menu, and said to the waiter waiting beside her, "Two cups of vanilla lattes."
