Chapter 575: Encirclement

"Just one cup." Wei Qingyun shouted.

Su Jinyue handed the menu to the waiter and nodded at her.

Wei Qingyun pursed his lips, reached out and touched the money in his pocket, with a hint of bitterness and helplessness in his eyes.

"I came to you today to ask you for a favor." Su Jinyue said.

Wei Qingyun looked at Su Jinyue in surprise, "What do you want me to help you with?"

"I'm opening a gallery in the US and would like you to manage it," Su Jinyue said. Wei Qingyun loved painting, and a gallery would allow him to meet more people who shared his passion, which would also help his skills. Although she didn't have much money, opening a gallery was no problem. She had various medicinal pills on her, and selling just one could more than fund a gallery. She could also treat patients.

Wei Qingyun looked at Su Jinyue in surprise. "Why?" He and she were not related at all, so why would she hand over the gallery to him? Was she a liar?

"Because you are suitable." Su Jinyue curled her lips.

"But I have no experience in this area, and you don't know me." Wei Qingyun didn't want to take this pie that fell from the sky. He felt that there was no free dinner in this world.

"Wait until I open the gallery, then you can take a look and decide whether to accept it." Su Jinyue looked at her watch and took out a defensive bracelet and handed it to Wei Qingyun, "Take this bracelet, it can protect you."

"Thank you, I don't need it." Wei Qingyun refused. He still hadn't figured out Su Jinyue's purpose.

"Take it, I won't harm you." Su Jinyue said with a sincere smile.

"Thank you!" Wei Qingyun accepted the bracelet. He had never believed in gods or Buddhas, so naturally, he didn't believe it could protect him. But he knew Su Jinyue would give it to him even if he refused. Although he had never met Su Jinyue, her attitude in the alley before had already made it clear that she was a self-centered person. Once she made up her mind, no one else could change it.

Su Jinyue stood up and said, "I'll come to see you again."

Watching Su Jinyue's receding back, Wei Qingyun shook his head and sighed, then looked back at the bracelet in his hand. After thinking for a while, he put the bracelet on his hand.

His eyes swept over the two cups of coffee on the table, and Wei Qingyun touched his pocket with a troubled look on his face. What should he do with the money for these two cups of coffee?

After thinking for a while, Wei Qingyun sighed helplessly and raised his hand to call the waiter, "How much is the coffee?" He wanted to ask the price and see if he could pay part of the money first and pay the rest tomorrow.

"The lady has already paid for the coffee," said the waiter.

"Oh!" Wei Qingyun nodded. He felt a little sorry for Su Jinyue. She had helped him and even treated him to coffee.

"Oh no!" Thinking that he still had to go to work, Wei Qingyun quickly stood up and walked out of the store.

Henry and his friends woke up and looked around, only to find they were the only ones in the alley. Thinking of the previous scene, they were a little frightened. That woman was so powerful that he was thrown out before he could even react.

"Should we still look for that kid?" Bosch asked. His father worked in Henry's father's company, so he usually listened to Henry's decisions on everything.

"Let's go back first." Henry said.

When they walked out of the alley, they saw Wei Qingyun running towards them quickly.

Henry narrowed his eyes and a sinister smile appeared on his face. While the woman was away, he would teach that kid a lesson. As long as they left after teaching him a lesson, even if the woman knew about it later, she wouldn't be able to find them.

"Let's go over there." Henry walked towards Wei Qingyun.

Wei Qingyun hadn't expected to meet so many more people. He secretly cursed his bad luck.

"Let's see who can help you this time. Go find a baseball bat." Henry said to the four people behind him.

A young man looked around and saw a wooden stick supporting an awning in front of a shop, and walked over.

How could Wei Qingyun just sit there and wait for death? He pushed away one of the young men who surrounded him and ran forward quickly.

"Chase!" Henry said to everyone and quickly chased forward.

Wei Qingyun was very familiar with the locations in Chinatown, so he twisted and turned and ran into an alley. However, he didn't expect that the other party would chase him. He was once again surrounded by the crowd.

"Give me the stick!" Henry took the stick from the young man's hand, smiled triumphantly, and slowly walked towards Wei Qingyun.

Wei Qingyun took a few steps back, but with two young men behind him, he had nowhere to retreat. It seemed he couldn't escape today.

"Boy, keep running and call that woman to help you." Henry laughed and hit Wei Qingyun with the stick in his hand.

Wei Qingyun quickly reached out to block it, but saw Henry and the stick being bounced out, hitting Bosch behind him hard, and both of them were thrown out together. What was going on?

Suddenly, he remembered Su Jinyue's words and quickly looked at the bracelet on his wrist. Could it really protect him? How could this be possible?

With the help of a young man, Henry struggled to get up from the ground. He looked at Wei Qingyun with some fear and said, "Go..." He had just clearly felt that a force had bounced him away.

Wei Qingyun looked in the direction the others had left, a smile spreading across his handsome face. He began to look forward to his next meeting with Su Jinyue. She must be an amazing person.

The competition was held in the hospital's conference hall. When Su Jinyue and his group arrived, the American medical team was already waiting for them.

"Please take your seats!" A hostess stepped forward and led Su Jinyue and her group to their seats.

After Su Jinyue and her group were seated, Jack walked onto the stage and smiled at everyone present. "Welcome everyone! Today, we are honored to have our Chinese doctor friends here to participate in this medical exchange competition. Everyone here should know that there is an ancient medical art in China called 'Traditional Chinese Medicine'. This medical exchange competition is to let everyone witness whether ancient Chinese medicine is more powerful or modern science-based medicine is superior."

"Is there even a need to compare? Modern medicine is naturally more advanced. Otherwise, why would so many hospitals in China focus on Western medicine?"

"Chinese traditional medicine is not trustworthy at all. It's just witchcraft."

"We must completely drive traditional Chinese medicine out of China."

"Yes! We believe in science and Western medicine!" the audience shouted.
