Chapter Thirty-Five: Liu Xueli's Fortune



"If it's good for your mother, then hurry up and go!" Xu Kuo was too lazy to waste words with her. "If you don't go now and delay my treatment, I'll make you regret it!"

Liu Xueli was startled by Xu Kuo's fierce gaze, and her heart pounded. She knew that this third brother was not someone to be trifled with now, and if she really pushed him too far, who knew what he might do.

She glared at Xu Kuo resentfully, then turned and left. Before leaving, she spotted the thick stack of grain and meat coupons on the table and casually stuffed them into her pocket.

"You...you..." Xu Jianguo and Xu Jianjun were speechless after being spoken to by Xu Kuo, and their faces turned red with anger.

"Stop arguing!" Ren Hongmei called out weakly, "You...you all want to drive me to my death?"

The group finally calmed down.

Not long after, Liu Xueli returned, carrying a large bag containing rice, meat, and several doses of traditional Chinese medicine.

"Hey, sister-in-law, you've struck it rich?" Xu Jianjun's wife asked sarcastically.
