The henchman said, "They're both unconscious and can't be woken up. I think they've been drugged."
The third leader also sensed something was amiss. If someone was watching the warehouse, the fire wouldn't have spread so much before it was discovered. The fact that the guard was drugged meant that someone had deliberately set the fire.
By this time, the fire had turned the sky red and was impossible to extinguish.
If the family fortune is gone, then they'll start building it up again. They'll rob more ships in the future and make up for this loss as soon as possible. The third leader didn't waste any more time here; he led his men straight to the main house.
