Lin Jin finally returned to Beijing safely. After the long journey, she felt exhausted. As soon as she got home, she collapsed onto the bed like a lump of mud and slept soundly.
When she woke up, she was full of energy and decided to go to the black market. After all, it seemed that no one in the capital was openly selling anything right now.
Lin Jin easily found the black market boss she had met before. Having already conducted several transactions with him, she was familiar with the place. However, despite this, she still didn't know the black market boss's real name; she only knew him as "Black Boss" from others, so she followed suit.
The gang leader's face immediately lit up with a smile when he saw Lin Jin, and he greeted him warmly, "Hey, Brother Mu, what good stuff are you selling today?"
Lin Jin glanced around, and the gang leader, seeing this, immediately understood her meaning and quickly ordered, "You all go out first. No one is allowed to come in without my permission! I'll call you if anything happens."
Seeing that everyone in the room had left, Lin Jin carefully opened the bag containing the watch and radio.
The bag was slowly opened, and the watch and radio were gently taken out one by one and placed on the table.
The gang leader's gaze was drawn to the two items; his eyes widened as if they were about to pop out. However, he quickly regained his composure and said casually, "Brother Mu, you've been on a long trip, haven't you?"
As he spoke, he reached out and seemingly casually took the watch from Lin Jin's hand, examining it closely. The watch's surface shimmered faintly under the light, and the gangster's fingers gently caressed the strap, feeling its texture and weight.
Then, the gang leader turned his attention to the radio. He picked it up, fiddled with it in his hands, and occasionally pressed a few buttons to listen to the sounds coming from it.
Lin Jin simply smiled and looked at the gang leader, saying, "Boss, what do you think? These are all top-quality goods. I had a lot of trouble getting them." A glint of greed flashed in the gang leader's eyes, but he remained calm on the surface. "Brother Mu, these things are indeed rare, but as for the price... I need to consider it." Lin Jin had already made his calculations and said unhurriedly, "Boss, you're an expert. This watch keeps accurate time, and the radio has clear sound quality. These are rare finds, so the price won't be low." The gang leader frowned, pretending to hesitate for a moment. "Brother Mu, this is the most I can offer you for the radio." As he spoke, he held up three fingers. Lin Jin sneered inwardly, but his face remained impassive. "Boss, you're really trying to fob me off. These things would fetch much more outside."
