Chapter 137 Hold on tight, don't drop him and break him (2/2)

Fu Shen carefully opened his arms, and the doctor gently placed the child in his hands.

Then, as if holding the most precious treasure in the world, Fu Shen, with slightly trembling hands, handed the child to Su Yue.

Seeing that his hands were shaking violently and the baby was swaying along with them, Su Yue said something that made everyone laugh: "Hold on tight, or you'll drop him and break him."

Fu Shen quickly said, "I won't break it."

Wang Jingyi and the doctors and nurses couldn't help but smile as they listened to their conversation.

Su Yue took a closer look at the baby inside the amniotic sac. At that moment, the doctor asked Fu Shen to hand the baby to her, saying that he needed to go to the delivery room to get the baby out.

Su Yue's body also needed to be washed, so the doctor took her in with him.

Fu Shen and Wang Jingyi waited anxiously at the entrance of the delivery room. Soon after, a loud cry rang out.

The nurse brought the baby out first, and Fu Shen instinctively reached out to hold him.

The nurse gently placed the baby in his arms and then turned back to the delivery room.

Wang Jingyi leaned closer and took a good look at the child. She saw that the child was fair and clean, unlike the red and wrinkled appearance of Yang Yimiao and his brother when they were born.

Fu Shen stiffened, looking at Wang Jingyi with a hint of panic in his voice, "You hold the child."

Seeing his nervous expression, Wang Jingyi couldn't help but smile and took the child from him.

Fu Shen finally breathed a sigh of relief. The feeling of a child wrapped in amniotic membrane and one without amniotic membrane is different.

The moment he held the child, he was afraid that if he used even a little too much force, he would hurt the child. The child had no bones at all, and the soft, flabby feel made him feel less at ease than when he was holding a ball of flesh.

The delivery room door opened again, and Su Yue actually walked out on her own. Upon seeing this, Fu Shen hurriedly went over to support her and said worriedly, "Why did you walk out?"

Su Yue gave a relaxed smile and said, "I came out since there's nothing wrong."

She is now completely free of the discomforts that the doctor had previously mentioned that would occur after childbirth.

My body felt almost the same as usual, except for the intense pain before giving birth. Fortunately, the pain was only temporary, and I felt much better once I got to the hospital.

If her belly hadn't already flattened, she would have suspected that she had given birth to a "fake baby".

The doctor came out and explained, "Comrade Su's body is different from other new mothers. She has no trauma at all. Walking around right after giving birth is good for her health. She can go home to recuperate now."

Fu Shen looked at the doctor, his tone tinged with concern: "Don't we need to observe him for two days?"

The doctor smiled and said, "No need, Comrade Su is in good health."

According to the older generation, even a strong and healthy person like you is not as strong as a woman who has just given birth in the next village.

That's the impression Su Yue gave her; her health was astonishingly good.

If they were to work in the fields at the same time to earn work points, I definitely wouldn't be able to compete with her.

Grandma Yang got thirsty and went to get a drink of water. She saw that her front door was open, and that the lights in Su Yue's room were on and the door was open.

She hurried over in a panic, but no one was inside. She rushed back to her room and woke up Grandpa Yang, her voice full of anxiety: "Old man, get up! Don't sleep! Yueyue has gone to give birth. We have to go and see her too. Why didn't these two wake us up?"

Grandpa Yang had actually woken up when Grandma Yang went out, but he had his eyes closed. When he heard his wife's words, he sat up abruptly and asked in surprise, "When did they leave? How come there was no sound at all?"

As he spoke, he hurriedly got out of bed and put on his shoes. Grandma Yang quickly grabbed her wallet and said, "They left in such a hurry, we don't know if they brought any money with them. Let's take the money with us."

Before the two had even stepped out of the room, they heard Wang Jingyi say, "We forgot to close the door when we left."

Grandma Yang and Grandpa Yang paused for a moment, then quickly walked into the yard.

Wang Jingyi was seen carrying the child in front, while Fu Shen was carrying Su Yue in behind.

When Su Yue saw Grandma Yang and the others, she gently patted Fu Shen's chest, "Put me down, I want to walk by myself."

Even though she kept saying she was fine, Fu Shen insisted on carrying her back home after they left the hospital, afraid that she would get tired.
