Chapter 106 Su Hang's Final Fate: Terrible
"I didn't do this to Su Hang!" Zheng Laosan glanced at Su Hang, who was lying on the ground, and noticed that he was looking at Su Xu with a wary gaze. After noticing Zheng Laosan looking at him, he turned his head and started whimpering at Zheng Laosan, as if he was eager to tell him something.
When he opened his mouth, it was empty and dark, which startled Zheng Laosan so much that he instinctively took a step back, his heart pounding in his throat.
Su Xu raised an eyebrow, holding his teacup, and looked at him with a deep gaze, saying, "My brother is really pitiful, you even cut out his tongue."
"When I got there, the ground was covered in blood, and the tongue was lying in the pool of blood." Su Xu clicked his tongue, a smile on his face. "That tongue was still soft."
His vivid description sent chills down Zheng Laosan's spine.
Su Hang in front of him was a useless person. Zheng Laosan touched his neck with trembling hands, and the pain was still there.
He remembered the rope around his neck that night, and that suffocating feeling seemed to return, making it hard for Zheng Laosan to breathe.
He was breathing heavily with his mouth open, tearing at his collar with both hands as if there really was a rope around his neck.
"You're really ruthless." Su Xu looked at Zheng Laosan's strange expression and knew that it was the psychological trauma he had caused him.
His voice continued in a low, eerie tone, "You've also severed Su Hang's tendons in his hands and feet. If I were to avenge him, how about I sever yours too?"
When Su Xu asked whether it was good or not, his tone was very gentle, like a question between old friends.
His expression and tone, however, chilled Zheng Laosan to the bone.
"No! No!" Zheng Laosan cried out in terror, "No!"
He knew Su Xu was threatening him; if he didn't take responsibility, he would be the next one to be crippled.
Zheng Laosan swallowed hard, wondering whether he should call the police.
"How about I call the police for you?" Su Xu saw through his thoughts immediately, stood up with his teacup in hand, and leisurely strolled over to Zheng Laosan, saying, "Even if you call the police, I can still cripple you!"
"You're crippled now, so whatever my fate, you won't live to see it," Su Xu whispered in Zheng Laosan's ear. "And can you guarantee you'll win?"
Everyone knows that Liu Nian knows many important people, while Zheng Laosan is just an ordinary citizen.
Su Xu kicked Su Hang, who was sprawled on the ground, and said, "Aren't you going to do anything about my brother?"
"Manage!" Zheng Laosan was covered in cold sweat. He frantically wiped it with the back of his hand and cried, "Can't I just do whatever you tell me to do?"
A grown man actually started crying; in his eyes, Su Xu was like the King of Hell! This shows how deep the psychological trauma that night had left on him.
Su Xu patted Zheng Laosan on the shoulder and said with a smile, "Then I'll leave my brother to you." He strode forward.
Just as Zheng Laosan breathed a sigh of relief, Su Xu suddenly stopped and turned back, startling Zheng Laosan into a tense silence. "You, you, what else do you want to do?"
“I forgot to mention.” Su Xu looked at Su Hang, curled the corners of his lips, and said coldly, “Don’t be too nice to him. I’ll come to see him occasionally and collect his medical expenses. Remember to prepare.”
Even after Su Xu had walked away, Zheng Laosan was still thinking about Su Xu's words, what did he mean by not being too nice to him?
Su Hang was truly helpless, with no one to turn to for help. He might as well be dead, but death was a luxury for him now.
...
As soon as Su Xu arrived home, Liu Nian rushed up to him and asked, "Where's Su Hang?"
"I sent it to Zheng Laosan, after all, he's the one who crippled him." Su Xu winked at Liu Nian.
Liu Nian helped brush the dust off Su Xu, and couldn't help but laugh out loud, "Evil people need to be tormented by other evil people, let them torture each other."
Later, people would often see Su Hang on the way to the county town, sitting on the ground, covered in dirt and smelling bad, looking like a homeless person from a distance.
In front of him was a broken bowl with a piece missing, containing a few bites of food and some scattered coins.
It looked like he had become a beggar, so Zheng Laosan would leave him at the street corner every day before going to work himself.
After finishing his work, I would pick him up. Sometimes I would forget, and Su Hang would have to sleep on the streets. Looking at the stale rice in his bowl, he would have to crawl on the ground like a dog and pick it up with his mouth.
The children laughed and threw trash at him. Su Hang couldn't shout, he couldn't yell, and he couldn't even dodge.
Sometimes he even had to watch helplessly as stray dogs ate all the food he had begged for.
