"You two go inside and have a chat." Liu Nian gave Zhang Sufeng a push, then winked at Wu Qi, "Come inside."
Wu Qi quickly pushed open the door, blushing as she waited for Zhang Sufeng to come over.
Zhang Sufeng lowered her head and secretly glanced at Wu Qi. The two walked into the house side by side, with half a person between them.
The villagers then came to their senses and surrounded Liu Nian.
"Nian girl, how did you do that?"
Liu Nian said softly, "I have a family secret recipe."

Not long after, Wu Qi and Zhang Sufeng came out, their faces flushed.

Zhang Sufeng lowered her head and glanced at Wu Qi, who was nodding heavily.
"Mm." Zhang Sufeng quickly nodded in agreement.
"That's settled then!" Zhang Suzhen finally felt triumphant. "I'm going home to set off a string of firecrackers! Who says my sister can't get married!"
Zhang Suzhen rolled her eyes at those who had once mocked her.
It actually worked! Liu Nian breathed a sigh of relief; all her hard work over the past few days had finally paid off.

At night, the front door creaked open.
Liu Nian immediately stood up, wanting to tell Su Xu about what happened today.
Then Su Xu handed a bag of things to Liu Nian.
"What is this?" Liu Nian took it, opened it, and looked at it.
A bag of dried hawthorn berries.
Su Xu said, "Didn't you say you wanted something sour? I asked a fellow villager to get it for you."
"When did I say that?" Liu Nian frowned. "I didn't say that, did I?"
Su Xu shook his head. "You said it happened this afternoon, when Su Feng went on her blind date."
Oh, Liu Nian remembered, those were the words she said to deliberately provoke Liu Xiangxiang.
However, Liu Nian tilted her head and asked, "How did you know?"
Su Xu should have been working in the fields at that time, and I didn't see him in the crowd that afternoon either.
A hint of unease flashed across Su Xu's face. He coughed awkwardly and said, "Oh, please don't ask."

"You little devil!" Liu Nian looked at Su Xu provocatively.
Su Xu sighed, picked up Liu Nian, and strode into the house.
All she does is seduce him all day long!
