Chapter 54 She Became a Murderer
Liu Nian pursed her lips and chuckled to herself, watching the veins bulging on the man's forehead, his expression of struggling to hold back but not daring to do anything to her, which she found quite amusing.
She's so mean; she just loves teasing Su Xu.
"Don't push me!" Su Xu snorted, put Liu Nian on the kang (a heated brick bed), panting heavily, and flicked her nose. "If you push me too far, I'm capable of anything."
The man's fingers were rough and calloused; as they brushed against her delicate skin, red marks quickly appeared.
"Why are you like a delicate flower?" Su Xu felt a pang of heartache again, and gently rubbed the woman's nose with his fingertips, this time not daring to use any force.
Liu Nian looked up with her small face and sighed, "Ah Xu, I feel sorry for you. You've been enduring so much."
Liu Nian spoke in a low, teasing tone, her flirtatious manner quite obvious, even glancing at him with a gloating look in her eyes.
Although it was possible, Su Xu didn't dare to make any big moves. No matter what, he felt that the anger in his heart couldn't be quelled.
"You, all you do is bully me." Su Xu smiled helplessly.
This woman knew how to ignite his passion; in fact, whenever he saw her, his gaze would burn with desire, his blood would surge, and he would be completely unable to control himself.
"Am I fatally attractive to you?" Liu Nian raised an eyebrow triumphantly, moved closer to Su Xu, and nestled against the man's strong, broad arm, her breath lightly brushing against his ear—
"Tell me about it."
A faint blush gradually spread across Su Xu's face, suppressed beneath his sexy bronze skin. He felt a breath of air on his neck, making him feel lightheaded.
My head is spinning.
"Yes, the moment I saw you, I wanted to... I wanted to..."
I just wanted to bully her badly.
But he couldn't bring himself to say it. Su Xu's Adam's apple bobbed, he coughed, and glanced back at her.
His gaze was like a turbulent sea, instantly engulfing Liu Nian and drawing her in.
In the end, I couldn't resist.
This time, Liu Nian proved herself right. Instead of falling asleep from exhaustion, she pretended to be asleep, squinting as she peeked at the man kissing her before putting on her clothes and getting off the kang (heated brick bed).
Without a doubt, I'm going to write in my diary again, along with another round of repentance.
Taking advantage of this opportunity, Liu Nian turned on her phone and switched to Su Xu's perspective. She wanted to see what Su Xu had been doing behind her back.
At first, there was nothing special, just some scenes of Su Xu and his teammates working in their assigned fields. Liu Nian adjusted the settings a bit, and then her eyes widened.
Su Xu actually sat down next to a group of elderly women and seriously took out paper and pen.
An elderly woman with gray hair said, "Let me tell you, your wife is pregnant. She can't eat donkey meat, or the baby will have a donkey face, which won't look good!"
Su Xu frowned and wrote something in his notebook.
"You can't eat rabbit meat either, or the child will have a cleft lip and be ugly."
"Put away the scissors in the house, don't let your wife touch them, or she might miscarry..."
...
The older women took turns pointing and gesturing wildly, surrounding Su Xu in a circle. Su Xu held a small notebook and kept writing...
The scene looked so out of place that Liu Nian was both amused and exasperated. What these old ladies were saying had no scientific basis, right?
Sure enough, Su Xu looked up and asked with some doubt, "Really?"
The old woman was displeased. "Tsk, what's wrong? You don't believe me? What do you know, you're a grown man? You've never been pregnant!"
They all said firmly, "You can trust us! We've all been there, we have experience!"
Su Xu nodded, somewhat confused, "Oh, okay, okay."
Then he lowered his head again, and the old women continued their chatter, while he continued writing.
"You're a grown man, aren't you afraid of being laughed at?" an old man passing by scoffed. "What woman doesn't have children? Don't make a fuss!"
“My wife gives birth at night and has to work in the fields during the day. I’ve never seen a wife who is so pampered.”
Su Xu slammed the notebook shut and said coldly, "Your wife is really pitiful, she didn't meet a good man like me."
As he spoke, his eyes casually glanced at the old woman next to the old man.
The old woman was the old man's wife. She glared at him fiercely and said, "What terrible luck I've ever had! Why did I marry you?!"
After saying that, she turned and left angrily. Humph! Why didn't she meet a man who cared about her? Liu Nian is too lucky!
Su Xu lowered her eyes and turned around. "Auntie, let's continue."
