Chapter 98 The Impure Thoughts of a Pure-Hearted Man
Liu Nian looked at her, and she looked back at Liu Nian.
Zheng Laosan's wife was also from this village; her name was Zheng Yanni, and she was known for her fiery temper.
The ground was littered with broken pieces of bowls. She kicked one off the ground, raised her eyebrows, and said, "Aren't you so capable? Why don't you pay the workers' wages first? Our family is broke anyway."
She acted like a typical shameless shrew, giving off a "what can you do about me?" vibe.
"Why should I pay for this for you?" Liu Nian puffed out her belly and sneered. "According to you, your family is so poor that they can't survive. Since they can't survive, why don't you go and die for the one who's about to die?"
These words stunned Zheng Yanni. How could she refute them?
"Since you agreed to lend him the money, then this matter has nothing to do with me anymore. It's a matter of mutual consent."
At this point, Liu Nian suddenly cried out, clutching her stomach, and gave Su Xu a look.
Su Xu immediately went over and asked anxiously, "Wife, what's wrong?"
"My stomach hurts!" Liu Nian blinked at Su Xu, but clutched her stomach and cried out in pain.

"Hey boss! What's going on? What do we do?" Behind me came Zheng Laosan's helpless plea for help.
It's obvious that she's run into a scoundrel who's incredibly difficult to deal with. Since it has nothing to do with her, Liu Nian doesn't want to get involved.
The two went straight home. Knowing that Liu Nian was acting, Su Xu was naturally not in a hurry, but thinking back, Su Xu immediately felt a wave of fear.
Niannian has been so busy lately, what if she really can't handle it anymore?
"You can't go anywhere during this time. Just stay home and take good care of yourself." Su Xu said coldly. "Let's see who dares to bother you at home."
Liu Nian watched as her husband frowned with heartache, his hand gently stroking her belly, his voice tinged with unease, "What am I supposed to do if something happens to you two?"
He looked up, his eyes glistening with tears. Liu Nian chuckled and gently rubbed his cheek. "I'm fine! This is just acting, isn't it?"
Su Xu pursed his lips, took the woman's hand, and pressed it against his face.
The soft palm brushed against the man's chin, causing a slight tingling sensation.
"Let go of me!" Liu Nian laughed and pushed the man's shoulder, but he grabbed her soft, boneless hand and deliberately mischievously rubbed it, finally pressing his lips to hers.
The warm, moist air, and his soft lips, landed on her palm.
Liu Nian's breathing quickened as she watched the man slowly raise his head.
His eyes were like a deep sea, drawing all her emotions into them. He suddenly called out softly, "Niannian."
Liu Nian couldn't resist and kissed his eyes.
Liu Nian's eyelids twitched, her eyelashes fluttered, and she looked up at Su Xu, whose eyes were still tightly closed.
The way she cautiously opened her eyes afterward was incredibly cute and innocent.
He really wanted to pounce on her, but this was an impure thought from a "pure" man. Su Xu licked his lips and lowered his gaze.
The weather is gradually getting cooler, and the man has heated the kang (a heated brick bed) to make it warm. The two of them squeezed together and joked around for a while, until they broke out in a sweat from the heat.
Liu Nian raised her hand, unbuttoned her clothes, and tried to take off her coat, but when she glanced at her, she saw Su Xu staring at her chest.
"What are you looking at?" Liu Nian swept the clothes she had taken off across Su Xu's face.
