Chapter 177 Blood for Blood

Instead of retreating, the burly man advanced, intending to break through the encirclement amidst the chaos.

"Don't move!"

The remaining police officer reacted extremely quickly, drawing his gun instantly.

The dark muzzle of the gun was pointed directly at the burly man.

The burly man stopped abruptly, staring at the gun with a complex mix of contempt and apprehension in his eyes.

"Foreign gadgets..."

In that instant of stalemate, Zhao Daming lunged forward from the side, a pair of handcuffs already in his hand.

The burly man noticed this, turned around abruptly, and delivered an elbow strike straight to Zhao Daming's face.

"Bang!"

It wasn't the sound of an elbow strike.

It was the sound of gunfire.

Zhang Cheng had somehow appeared beside Zhao Daming, the gun in his hand still emitting blue smoke.

The burly man looked down in disbelief at the blood blooming on his calf, swayed, and knelt on one knee.

If his elbow had landed, Zhao Daming would have been seriously injured, if not killed.

Zhang Cheng blew on the muzzle of his gun, his face expressionless.

"I ask, you answer."

The burly man stared intently at him, then glanced at the gun in his hand; it wasn't a standard police pistol.

"Who exactly are you?" the burly man asked through gritted teeth.

Zhang Cheng ignored him, walked straight up to him, and looked down at him condescendingly.

"Who sent you?"

The burly man spat out a mouthful of blood and sneered. "You dare to touch the Siberian Tiger's men?"

"Cuff him and take him back," Zhang Cheng said to the stunned Zhao Daming and several police officers.

Zhao Daming snapped out of his daze and immediately gave instructions to his subordinates.

The moment the handcuffs were fastened to the burly man's wrists, Zhang Cheng suddenly squatted down, leaned close to the man's ear, and spoke in a voice only the two of them could hear.

“Go back and tell your master that even a dragon crossing the river must coil up. A tiger crossing the border will die just the same.”

The burly man's pupils suddenly contracted.

Zhang Cheng stood up and gave orders to Li Qiming and Zhang Weiguo.

"Go to the hospital and stay with Jianhao. Also, call all of us."

He paused, the murderous intent in his eyes almost solidifying.

"Tonight, turn Funing County upside down for me."
