"So what's wrong with you? Weren't you in a hurry to get a divorce and finally get married to Lin Meizhi?"
Wei Mingshen bent over and chopped vegetables, saying, "My mind is a mess."
Shao Jiang waved his hand and said, "Then you can be quiet for a bit, there's no rush. By the way, where did Xue Li go? Weren't you doing business together?"
Wei Mingshen chuckled and said, "I went to play with my friends."
He looked up at Shao Jiang and said, "Yan Yan will be moving to Sydney's place this afternoon, which will be convenient for you."
"Ah, she moved to Sydney's place this afternoon, that's great! I've been as anxious as an ant on a hot pan these past two days, but I didn't dare go to her house to see her. I didn't dare bother you two because you're busy with your divorce. Now that's great, I'll go see her in a bit, hehe." Shao Jiang rubbed his hands together excitedly.
He suddenly asked worriedly, "Hey Lao Wei, do you think Yan Yan will hate me if she finds out that I was the one who broke up her fiancé?"

Wei Mingshen said, "What should we do? Let's not tell her for now."
"Yes, yes, you absolutely can't tell her. It has to be a secret. Tell Shirley not to tell Yan Yan either, otherwise Yan Yan will stop talking to me if she finds out, and then I'm doomed."

Shao Jiang, eager to see Yan Yan, blushed and said, "Yan Yan is here, come and tell me quickly!"
Wei Mingshen agreed and rode his bicycle back to Su Xueli's rented courtyard.
Su Xueli hadn't returned yet, so Wei Mingshen simply continued to slack off and went inside to sleep.
Just as Wei Mingshen lay down, Su Xueli returned. Seeing Wei Mingshen come back, she went to her bedroom to rest for a while.
There was an awkward moment at He Yujie's house earlier because Wei Mingshen had caused trouble before we left, and both she and He Yujie were in low spirits. Although He Yujie tried her best to hide it, she could still sense it.
So, after exchanging pleasantries with a few of his friends and having a meal, she said goodbye and left. He Yujie offered to see her off, but she refused, saying that his friends were all at home and she shouldn't come out.
She sat on the bed and cursed: "Wei Mingshen, you're so smug now. This is exactly what you wanted."
Hmph, you're just saying that magistrates are allowed to set fires while common people are forbidden to even light lamps!
Although she didn't want to accept He Yujie, she couldn't swallow her anger. What right did he have?
Su Xueli decided to have a good talk with that guy after she woke up.
Wei Mingshen had been drinking and hadn't slept enough. When Su Xueli woke up, he hadn't even left the room yet when she came over and knocked on the door, calling out, "Wei Mingshen, get up and get to work!"
Wei Mingshen grumbled and said, "I'm doing it now, aren't I?"
"What? You're dreaming, aren't you?"
Inside, someone muttered, "Damn, it really is like working in a dream."
Su Xueli was both amused and exasperated. "You've learned all three of my village's 'Three Big Heads' tricks: dreaming of plowing the fields, dreaming of grinding flour, hehehe..."
When she mentioned the famous story of the person from their village, she laughed so hard she couldn't speak.
Wei Mingshen opened the two doors and looked at Su Xueli, who was squatting on the ground laughing. He said indulgently, "What are you laughing at like an idiot?"
Su Xueli laughed more and more as she thought about it, until she was shaking so badly that she simply sat down on the ground.
Wei Mingshen said, "What are you laughing at? It's so funny. Tell me so I can laugh too."
