Chapter 171 We Do Not Accept Mediation (Part Two) shuhaige.net

Wei Mingshen looked at her and said, "As long as you're happy."

Su Xueli suddenly felt a tightness in her chest, and that stabbing pain returned. She clutched her chest in anguish and squatted down.

"Sherry, your chest hurts again!" Wei Mingshen knelt down and helped her up, asking.

Su Xueli waved her hand and said, "It's okay, it'll be fine in a bit."

"No, no, we have to go to the hospital. You suddenly started hurting last time, we can't delay any longer." Wei Mingshen picked her up and put her on the bicycle seat, then quickly rode his bike to the town hospital.

The doctor at the town hospital couldn't diagnose anything wrong, so he prescribed her a bottle of medicine for chest pain and a few painkillers and sent her away.

Wei Mingshen somehow got a glass of water and told her to take her medicine quickly. He then helped her sit on a bench in the hospital corridor to rest for a while before leaving.

Su Xueli sighed inwardly: You are actually very good at taking care of people, but only if you are willing.

In her past life, she endured minor illnesses and went to the hospital on her own for serious illnesses, without him ever asking her a single question.

"Make way! Make way!" Several nurses pushed an emergency stretcher and ran over from outside.

The person lying on the bed was wailing loudly, and their body was convulsing.

Su Xueli looked on curiously and almost burst out laughing: it was Cui Huabiao.

Moreover, he looked terrible, covered in dirt, with bruises all over his face, but if it were just superficial injuries, he wouldn't have screamed so horribly.

"Who hit him? This person really knows how to get things done," Su Xueli whispered to Wei Mingshen.

Wei Mingshen snorted and stopped talking.

Su Xueli sensed something was wrong and looked at him, asking, "Do you know who hit you?"

Wei Mingshen said dismissively, "I don't have time to worry about that."

Su Xueli rolled her eyes and smiled.

"Are you still in pain?" Wei Mingshen asked, looking at her.

Su Xueli touched her chest and said, "It doesn't hurt anymore."

Wei Mingshen asked, "Can we go home now?"

Su Xueli stood up: "That's fine."

"Hey, where are you going? This isn't the way home," Su Xueli reminded him.

Wei Mingshen said, "We'll be parting ways tomorrow. Let's have a farewell dinner tonight and buy some food and drinks to take home."

Su Xueli smiled and said, "Okay, okay, let's part on good terms."

"Old Wei! Sister-in-law!" Shao Jiang shouted at them from the door of his bathhouse.

Su Xueli turned to look at him, and he smiled brightly.

Wei Mingshen had no choice but to turn back, and with a stern face, he yelled at him, "What are you yelling for? We have things to do."

Shao Jiang punched Wei Mingshen in the chest. "No matter how important it is, you have to come back inside and talk to me. I was just saying I was going to your house tonight to share the good news. You've come at the perfect time. Sister-in-law, come on in and let's talk."

Su Xueli smiled and followed Shao Jiang into his bathhouse.

As soon as he entered his ticket office, Shao Jiang grabbed Wei Mingshen: "Hey Lao Wei, I've got it done, all right. His bones are properly dislocated, fractured, and swollen. He's agreed to everything he was supposed to. We're just waiting for the good news."

Su Xueli smiled faintly, "I saw it just now, you are indeed extraordinary."

Shao Jiang asked in surprise, "You saw it? What a coincidence! Where did you see it?"

Su Xueli said, "The hospital."

"Hahaha..." Shao Jiang laughed loudly, looking up.

Su Xueli also laughed happily.

Suddenly, her gossipy nature kicked in, and she grabbed Shao Jiang's sleeve, saying, "Stop laughing, tell me about the exciting moments from the scene."
