"Is this Zhou Xing's older sister? You two are so close now?" Tang Wenwen seemed to have discovered something extraordinary.
"It's not as serious as you say. Their family likes Hanhan and Xiaomei, it has little to do with me. You know, they're rich and powerful, but they're lonely and looking for comfort. Who told your nephew to be so good at sweet-talking people?" That was all Qin Xiaoyu could say.
"Really?" Tang Wenwen is not someone who can be easily dismissed with a few words.
"How are you?" Qin Xiaoyu was too lazy to ask, but couldn't help but show concern.
"It's still the same. His trip abroad is almost done, so we don't see each other much. I'm studying English, and he needs to catch up on his lessons." Tang Wenwen lowered her eyes, unable to hide her disappointment.
Qin Xiaoyu guessed that once Jing Tian left, they would break up; it was an inescapable fate, and no one could stop it, so she let it be.
Tang Wenwen could tell that Qin Xiaoyu wasn't as warm towards her as before, so she made an excuse to leave after a while.
"Little Fish, you're finally back! I've come twice already." Commander Wang is a woman as swift as the wind, or rather, a tornado.
As the weather warmed up, she somehow acquired a large, ethnic-style robe. It was brightly colored and had a lot of flowing fabric, making it quite avant-garde.
"Aunt Wang, did you miss me?" Qin Xiaoyu greeted her with a smile.
"Don't even mention it. The other day, Zhou Xing's mom called me, looking for a piano teacher urgently, and she wanted to buy a piano right away. I searched for ages before finally managing to get one from the music academy, and then I heard it was for your daughter..."
"I only found out after I got back. I'm so sorry for making such a fuss."
"What are they up to? I'm scared." Commander Wang knew the inside story, and his words made Qin Xiaoyu feel guilty.
"Aunt Wang, as long as I don't take that step, everything will be fine."
"Please, whatever you do, don't let anything happen to you. If something does, I don't think the school will be safe. There will be a huge uproar. You've really stirred up a hornet's nest." Commander Wang was there to warn her.
“I know what I'm doing, Aunt Wang.”
Qin Xiaoyu said this, but she really had no idea what Zhou Xing, such a manly person, might do.
Just as she was still calculating how to avoid Zhou Xing's attacks, he suddenly disappeared from her life without a trace.
Zhou Xing's presence in the Zhou family has always been very low. Now that Hanhan and Xiaomei have arrived, even Zhou Yue, who has always been favored, has been sidelined, let alone Zhou Xing.
Qin Xiaoyu strained her ears but heard nothing about Zhou Xing's whereabouts, as if this family didn't even have a son.

Tang Long passed the preliminary test smoothly, and the next step was the retest. Qin Xiaoyu was worried, but it wasn't convenient for her to bring her child home to stay every day. So she had Tang Long come to school after school, where she would tutor him and he would stay in the boys' dormitory.
Her cousin-in-law knew she could trust her with the job and let her make the arrangements. After a busy day, Qin Xiaoyu's schedule was almost completely full.
Even so, Zhou Xing's smug face still followed her like a shadow, impossible to shake off.
As June arrived and rainfall increased, Qin Xiaoyu's mood fluctuated.
Everyone could see that Principal Qin was unhappy; even when he smiled, his eyes were full of gloom.
One day, as she was standing by the window in a daze, she suddenly saw a car drive into the yard.
Zhou Xing.
The sky cleared up.
Qin Xiaoyu's eyes welled up with tears. She turned and ran out, but stopped at the door, retreated to the table, and sat down, taking a deep breath. She had to remain calm.
Zhou Xing barged in without knocking.
"Give me a haircut."
In less than a month, Zhou Xing was like a completely different person. His face was all muscle, and he looked even more aloof. His fair skin had turned bronze, and his already deep-set eyes were even more profound, with a hint of cold starlight in them.
"Let's go downstairs." Qin Xiaoyu led him to the VIP room downstairs.
The VIP room was suggested by Commander Wang. It was a room partitioned off at the very back of the classroom, containing only two chairs. Once the sliding door was closed, the world immediately became quiet, clean, and upscale. It was suitable for discerning customers, and of course, the price was different.
Qin Xiaoyu arranged Zhou Xing in a chair, laid it flat, and he closed his eyes, lying calmly in front of her, breathing evenly.
She took out a soft white towel and gently placed it on his neck. He had light stubble on his chin, which felt prickly to the touch.
Qin Xiaoyu repeatedly tested the water temperature with her own hands, adjusting it to the most comfortable temperature before pouring it over Zhou Xing's head.
Her small hand gently brushed across his head, but Zhou Xing remained motionless, as if he were asleep.
Qin Xiaoyu could stare at his face without restraint.
"Don't you want to know where I went?" Zhou Xing suddenly asked. Qin Xiaoyu's hand trembled slightly, but she immediately resumed her massage.
"I left for a while just to sort out my thoughts, to figure out what our relationship really is. Was my feelings for you just a passing impulse, or am I serious? I wanted to try and see what I would do without you." Zhou Xing didn't hear her response, nor did he open his eyes, continuing to speak to himself.
"The takeaway from this trip is that I've come to understand my own heart; I love you. And I've discovered that my love for you is deeper than your love for me."
"You're overthinking it, I didn't do anything..."
"Don't deny anything, don't say you have no feelings for me at all, I won't listen."
"Now that I'm back, I have no intention of leaving again. No matter where you are in the future, I will stay by your side. Even if you try to drive me away, I won't leave."
