"Mom, did Auntie do it?"
"It's her! Do you hate her?"
"I don't hate her. Mom, didn't you say we should be tolerant?"
Qin Xiaoyu sighed heavily. "Humans have lived so many years in vain, and not a single child is as kind as them."
As Qin Xiaoyu walked into the corridor of the orthopedic ward, she felt a little panicked. It seemed that something had happened. There were many onlookers standing outside her ward, even people on crutches had come. It must be quite a commotion.
She squeezed into the room, where the head nurse and two junior nurses were interrogating Hanhan's grandmother in the inner room. Hanhan's grandmother was in tears, barely able to speak, and upon seeing Qin Xiaoyu, she felt as if she had seen a relative, rushing straight to her.
"Little Fish, tell them that Mommy won't steal anything, she won't!"
"What happened?" Qin Xiaoyu glanced around and saw several bottles of medicine on the ground.
"Ask your mother-in-law. A few bottles of medicine went missing from the pharmacy, but they were found under her bed." The head nurse glanced at Qin Xiaoyu, waiting to see how she would respond.
"The medicine in the dispensary was missing, and it was found under my bed? So you're saying she stole it?" Qin Xiaoyu repeated, and then, looking at the smug face at the door, she understood everything.
"That's right, if someone steals your space, do you expect them to give it away?" The head nurse's logic is sound.
“Okay, I don’t know how much these drugs cost, or if it’s enough to file a case. But now that this has happened, let’s not settle it privately or cover it up, let’s report it to the police.” Qin Xiaoyu said decisively.
"Report a crime? Oh my god, I'm not going to the police station!" Grandma Hanhan's legs went weak and she almost sat down on the ground. It was only because Qin Xiaoyu dragged her back that she was able to stand up.
