After Hou Xiaojun quieted down, Chen Dazhuang focused even more intently on discerning the sound. As time passed, the sound seemed to grow clearer, yet it felt somewhat unreal. He couldn't help but slap himself to confirm it wasn't a hallucination. At the same time, Hou Xiaojun, who had been silent, suddenly broke into a look of wild joy and excitedly shouted, "I heard it too! Someone's coming!"
