Chapter 37 The Mastermind: Teacher Liu

On Monday morning, after attending the flag-raising ceremony, Jiang Xiaoli went straight to Chen Zhe.

Chen was stopped by her. "What's wrong?"

She smiled and said, "Teacher Chen, I'd like to discuss something with you. It's like this..."

After listening to her words, Chen Zhe remained silent for a moment, then asked, "Are you thinking of skipping a grade?"

Chen was both happy and reluctant. His heart was in turmoil. He had finally found such a good talent. Was he going to let him slip away so soon?

She sensed Ms. Chen's dilemma, and after thinking for a moment, she answered truthfully, "Ms. Chen, actually, I just want to have my own study space. My self-study progress is very fast, and whether it's in the first or second year of high school, it may not be able to keep up with my pace. What do you think I should do?"

Chen Zhe was relieved. "Okay, I understand. I'll arrange your exams first, and we'll discuss the rest after the exams. Don't worry, it won't delay you."

She was already very satisfied with that. "Okay, thank you, Teacher Chen."

She returned to the classroom feeling relaxed, and Xie Yitao asked curiously, "Why did you want to see Teacher Chen?"

"Young comrade, you're very curious!" Before things had settled down, she didn't plan to spread the word.

During the third period of physical education class in the morning, she went to the office to do her test paper as agreed with Teacher Liu.

Upon seeing the questions on the test paper, Jiang Xiaoli clicked her tongue and exclaimed, "Teacher Liu, did you put all the variations of past college entrance examination questions on this?"

When she noticed, Teacher Liu raised an eyebrow. "Not bad, if you can tell, then try doing it."

The test paper that Teacher Liu specially designed to make things difficult for her was indeed quite challenging, and she only put down her pen when the bell rang to signal the end of get out of class.

"Hey, you've finished writing it. Not bad."

Teacher Liu immediately took out a red pen and began to correct the errors: Correct, correct, and correct again.

Only in the last experimental question, the steps were slightly abbreviated, and Teacher Liu deducted 2 points from her score.

Actually, Mr. Liu was very pleasantly surprised! Even his senior high school students might not be able to achieve this level when doing this set of questions!

He capped the pen. "Alright, you've passed me."

Jiang Xiaoli gave him a playful salute, "Thank you, Teacher Liu!"

Taking the opportunity, Teacher Liu chatted with her casually, "Have you applied for other subjects yet?"

"Yes, I talked to Teacher Chen, and he said he would arrange it for me."

Teacher Liu tapped her finger twice on the table. "Have you considered participating in the competition?"

"Competition?" Jiang Xiaoli knew about it, but she had too many things to do. "I'm sorry, Teacher Liu, I don't have any plans to participate in the competition for the time being."

Upon hearing this, Teacher Liu did not try to persuade her. From their brief interactions, he knew that this child was very opinionated, and since she had politely declined, there was no need for him to try to persuade her.

"Alright, you can go back now."

Jiang Xiaoli returned to the classroom just as the bell rang. She didn't have time to report to Xiao Muyu, so she just turned around and smiled, giving her an affirmative nod.

At lunchtime, Xiao Muyu couldn't wait to come to her desk. "Tell me quickly, were the questions Teacher Liu gave difficult?"

Hearing her words, Xie Yitao asked in surprise, "You went to ask Teacher Liu for help during PE class just now?"

Jiang Xiaoli then revealed to him, "Yes, now I can look at whatever I want in physics class, and Teacher Liu won't care about me anymore."

Now Xie Yitao was also curious, "My goodness, you're amazing! Tell me quickly, how difficult were the questions Teacher Liu asked?"

"It was difficult, definitely difficult, but I answered it fairly well."

Both of them were charmed by her proud little expression.

Xiao Muyu tugged at her sleeve, "Xiao Li, did you bring the test paper back? Let me see it."

Xie Yitao also looked at her intently. She scratched her head and said, "I really didn't take this. I'll go get it back for you this afternoon."

Only after hearing her promise did the two men let her go home for dinner.

When I got home, Grandma Zhang and Aunt Deng were still there. "Little Pear is back!"

Both of them were much more enthusiastic than when they had seen her before.

Hearing the noise, Li Guizhi came out of the house. "Xiao Li, how did it go? Did you pass the exam?"

Jiang Xiaoli smiled sweetly, "Of course! Mom, what did you make for lunch? I'm hungry!"

"Come, come, it's all ready, come and eat." Li Guizhi called to her daughter while inviting the two people who had been working to eat.

Grandma Zhang and Aunt Deng declined Li Guizhi's invitation and quickly finished their work before going home.

As the mother and daughter ate together, Jiang Xiaoli casually asked, "Have Grandma Zhang and the others gotten started yet?"

Li Guizhi chuckled and placed a piece of food on her plate. "Don't worry about things at home. I'll ask you if I have any questions, you little housekeeper!"

"Hehe, okay, my mom is so capable!"

"By the way, I know how to make the filling for those steamed buns, but I can't write it out clearly. I'll tell you when you get back tonight, and you can write it down." Li Guizhi had two people helping her in the morning, and she spent a long time writing it herself, but it still looked awkward no matter how she looked at it.

Jiang Xiaoli nodded as she ate, "No problem!"

She only found out what her mother meant when she came home from school in the afternoon.

When the two of them first made spicy strips, she gave them the exact amounts of chili powder and cumin powder: 30 grams and 20 grams.

But when it came to her mother, it became light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, salt, and a little cooking wine.

This little bit is very spiritual; it all depends on the individual's own understanding.

She knew without a doubt that it would be strange if Zong Jia and the others could make delicious steamed buns with such a recipe!

She kept laughing, which annoyed Li Guizhi, who slapped her and said, "You're making fun of your mother, aren't you!"

"Haha, no, no!" She finally managed to suppress her laughter. "It's alright, wait for me a moment, I'll come back and solve this problem for you!"
