The room was simply furnished. There was a desk by the window, a leather armchair, a bed and a cabinet against the wall. The bed was covered with a blue plaid bed sheet and the quilt cover was the same color. It was folded neatly and no one knew who did it.
Su Nian put the travel bag on the gray fabric sofa. She looked at the things in the bathroom and found that shampoo and soap were ready. Then she opened the travel bag to get a change of clothes.
There was a knock on the door at this moment, "Su Nian, can I come in?"
"Okay," Su Nian quickly put the underwear back.
Chu Beichen pushed the door open and walked in. He had good eyesight and immediately noticed the light pink underwear sticking out of the travel bag. "Do you want to take a bath? I'll help you run the water!"

Su Nian quickly turned around and moved the travel bag off the sofa to make room.
Chu Beichen gently reached out and pulled her ponytail, "Being here is like being at home, you know?" Su Nian's well-behaved behavior made him feel a little distressed.
"Well," Su Nian said, sitting on the edge of the bed, "Auntie is so nice!"
"Really? That's because you haven't seen her beat me!" Chu Beichen did not hesitate to expose his mother's brutal side.
"Are you disobedient?" Su Nian continued speaking following Chu Beichen's words.
"No way." Chu Beichen stood up and turned off the water. "Go wash up quickly. Call me if you need anything! I'm right across the street from you!"
After Chu Beichen left, Su Nian took out her underwear and locked the door.
After taking a hot bath, Su Nian combed her hair and felt that all the pores on her body were relaxed and she felt very comfortable.
She had been abused by the Su family since she was a child and had never imagined that family life could be so warm and gentle.
After drying her hair, Su Nian opened the curtains and just in time heard a loud military bugle call. It was the wake-up call for the opposite military camp.
There was a conversation coming from the door, "Mom, why did you come up here?" Chu Beichen's voice sounded a little surprised.
"I'll call Xiao Nian to eat!" Mother Chu's voice was cheerful.

The first floor was the living room, dining room, and Chu's parents' bedrooms. A large white wooden round table sat in the dining room, and five bowls of wontons were steaming, their aroma filling the air. Su Nian quickly followed Chu's mother into the kitchen, "Auntie, is there anything else you want?"
Mother Chu handed Su Nian a large plate of fragrant pancakes, picked up two plates of side dishes, and said to Chu Beichen who followed in, "You take the fried eggs and chopsticks!"
Chu Beichen agreed and stepped aside to let them go out first.
At this time, the door of the living room was pushed open and Chu's father walked in. He was tall, but his face was not as handsome as Chu Beichen. Chu's father looked kind and very similar to Chu Nancheng, while Chu Beichen combined his father's stature and his mother's appearance, having the best of both families.
