Gu Lei readily agreed, "Okay."
"Gu Feng, isn't this a bad idea?"
"What's wrong with that? Gu Lei wants to play with the kids, and we're just going out for a walk. Isn't this perfect?"
"Sister-in-law, go ahead and tell me what the child eats, and then you can go out on a date."
Lu Wanwan gave the child some biscuits, told Gu Lei how to make milk powder, and followed Gu Feng out. The child was almost one year old, and they had never had a date since they had the child. Gu Lei's return was just the right time to make it happen for them.
Gu Feng took Lu Wanwan's hand and walked around the village. They didn't dare to go too far, fearing that Gu Lei would not be able to take care of the child. When they returned home, they found that Gu Lei played very well with the child and they didn't have to worry about him at all. They decided to go further next time.
As soon as Gu Feng entered the room, he asked, "How is taking care of the children?"
"I feel pretty good. Ningning didn't cry or look for you guys when she had a lot of things to say. She was having fun by herself."
"Now that he's grown up, he's definitely much easier to take care of and more fun."
"Second brother, I will go back to the house when you come back. I won't disturb you anymore."
After Gu Lei left, Gu Feng and Lu Wanwan discussed whether Gu Lei could take care of the children more so that they could have more time to date. Gu Feng imagined that it would be a wonderful thing for Gu Lei to take care of the children after school and they could go out on a date.
"Don't let your imagination run wild here. Have you ever asked Gu Lei if he's willing?"
"I told him he would definitely agree."
"You won't use threats or inducements, will you?"
"No, am I that kind of a winner?"
Lu Wanwan really wanted to say that you are the one, look how scared Gu Lei is when he sees you, but she couldn’t bear to hit him.
Gu Feng fell asleep thinking about his wonderful life in the future.
