Chapter 53: Taken Away by Armed Men
"Do you have any evidence?" Yao Tao calmly started a fire.
The armed men were stunned.
What other evidence do they need to carry out their mission?
They arrest whoever their boss tells them to arrest. It's the end of the world, so why would they need evidence?
This was the first time they encountered someone who was uncooperative. After exchanging glances, they pointed the gun at her and said, "Please cooperate."
Yao Tao still didn't move, "Just shoot."
Armed personnel: “…”
Most people would surrender immediately after seeing a gun, but what's wrong with this woman?
Meng Fan rushed over and stood in front of Yao Tao, "Sister Yao Tao has been with me the whole time. She didn't spread any rumors. Did you arrest the wrong person?

The others were relieved to see Yao Tao being captured. They finally got rid of the liar, so that their captain wouldn't be fooled by their kindness.
"What's going on?" Wen Jiming and Hagrid just walked out of the tent, and Mengbao followed behind. They were surprised to see Yao Tao and the five armed men leaving.
The team member who had brought the armed personnel here earlier happily reported to Wen Jiming, "The scammer has been taken away. We are all relieved. We were just worried that you would be cheated by this woman."
Wen Jiming understood everything immediately after hearing this. He pointed at the team members sitting around the campfire and said, "You...ah, it's all over now!"
After saying that, he hurried out of the camp.
"Captain, where are you going?" Some team members wanted to stop Wen Jiming.
Hagrid kicked the man aside and said, "You fools, you are more likely to cause trouble than to help."
"Why did you kick me? We're all thinking about the team." The man who was kicked was not convinced. "This woman is a liar."
"Which eye of yours saw that she is a liar?" Meng Bao was so angry that he wanted to kick the man, but the man dodged and the kick missed.
"Captain Wu is arresting people everywhere, how could it be fake?" the team members argued confidently.
"What did she lie about?" Hagrid demanded.
"She spread rumors."
"What if what she said is true?"
The team members were stunned at first, then shook their heads, "That can't be true. I've never heard of bats attacking people."
"She's just a woman. The authorities haven't even discovered this kind of thing. How could she have known about it first?"
Hagrid stormed over to the campfire, grabbed the roast meat from the rack, and threw it all into the fire.
Everyone was shocked, "Hagrid, what are you doing? We haven't finished eating the meat yet."
In the last days, every meal is precious.
Hagrid scolded, "You only know that Wen Jiming told 002 officials how to eat mutant animals, but did you know that Yao Tao originally taught us how to eat them? How dare you eat them!"
When these words were spoken, everyone looked at each other in surprise.
It was actually that woman who told Wen Jiming and the others how to eat mutant animals?
The team member who had just deliberately provoked Yao Tao with mutant animal meat grunted for a long time before uttering, "It's not our fault. The captain didn't tell us."
Hagrid explained, "In this matter, we were the ones who wronged Yao Tao first. She taught us how to safely eat mutant animal meat. After discussing it, the three of us decided that if we wanted to gain a foothold in 002, we needed official support. So we pushed Wen Jiming forward and had him report this to the authorities, and they took it seriously."
"How else do you think you're doing so well in 002?" Meng Bao couldn't help but interrupt. "We were just discussing this in the tent and wanted to talk things over with Yao Tao after dinner, but you guys ended up offending her and bringing armed men to arrest her. Are you all just idiots?"
