"I don't know, but I have a feeling there's something going on here. I'll look into it later. But I'm interested in his 'empty-handed' production line. Nobody does that. I should learn from it; it might come in handy in the future."
“That’s true, we’ll ask later, but we don’t have much money right now. We’ll have to put this joining on hold.”
“We’ll have some money when Taozi comes back, but we can’t touch the capital. Xing Baohua’s side still has a big shortfall. I’ll think of a way. How about you find a small business to help you get a loan? I’ll try to find my dad’s subordinates, and once the loan comes through, we can transfer the small business’s leader. Maybe we won’t have to pay this debt.”
“Your idea is brilliant. I’ll handle finding the right people. If the loan is to be disbursed quickly, we’ll have to wait for Taozi to come back.” Liu Haibo’s mind was already on the company and the people in charge.
If Xing Baohua painstakingly acquired equipment, then these people are truly ripping off businesses with nothing.
However, there are certain conditions involved, and most people can't pull it off. You need connections with a bank, HR, and acquaintances – all three are necessary.
If a company takes out a loan in its own name, and has connections at the bank, the approval process is simplified and expedited. If the company then lends the money out under other names, and the former leader is transferred, will the new leader repay the loan?
The only options are to procrastinate or accumulate more and more debt, and the company will go bankrupt. If the leaders are transferred to other units, there will be no loss; the only ones who will suffer are the company's workers.
Xing Baohua's head still ached a little when he went to work the next day. Listening to the marching music blaring from the loudspeaker, he sighed, "Huh, I didn't manage to get rid of the effects of the alcohol."
Upon arriving at Workshop 5, the workers had already begun to arrive. Hong Mingliang was taking attendance with a small notebook in hand. The workers were standing loosely, and some were even yawning.
Well, the fifth workshop is a mess right now. It hasn't even started production yet, but the workers have already equipped everything.
There's not much work to do yet. People come to clock in just to get paid at the end of the month. After clocking in, some play cards, and others go home.
In fact, Xing Baohua also wanted to provide them with some training, but unfortunately, firstly, there was no equipment, and secondly, the materials were incomplete, which prevented the work from starting.
With the addition of several seasoned workers transferred from other workshops, the momentum waned. Hong Mingliang, the manager, wasn't as capable as initially thought.
Xing Baohua was busy debugging the equipment, and the only people he could easily use were the two he brought with him: Liu Quan as the squad leader and Xu Shuai in his squad. Why not give Xu Shuai the position of vice squad leader? Mainly because Xu Shuai couldn't handle the workload for the time being.
Liu Quan leads a team of 15 permanent employees and 6 temporary employees. This is equivalent to Xing Baohua's core team.
Xing Baohua continued debugging the work he hadn't finished yesterday. When he tried to call Xu Shuai, he found he wasn't there and asked Liu Quan, "Where's Xu Shuai?"
"I don't know! I just saw him a moment ago," Liu Quan said to Xing Baohua after looking around and not finding Xu Shuai.
"Tell Xu Shuai later that this isn't our makeshift repair shop; he should be more careful here at the factory," Xing Baohua instructed.
“Okay, I’ll tell him later that I’ve noticed he’s been acting suspiciously lately, and I don’t know what he’s up to,” Liu Quan said.
Just as Xing Baohua was about to say something, Hou Liwei walked over.
Since the establishment of the fifth workshop, the two have not exchanged a single word, not even a business-related one.
As he approached, Xing Baohua asked, "What's the matter?"
"There's a meeting you need to attend." After saying this, Hou Liwei turned and left.
Xing Baohua chuckled and joked, "I know, Chief Secretary."
Upon hearing this, Hou Liwei paused slightly before continuing on his way. Perhaps, to him, Xing Baohua's words were a sarcastic remark. He used to be a secretary, after all, just relaying orders. They didn't even take him, the deputy director, seriously.
As Xing Baohua watched Hou Liwei's figure disappear from his sight, he suddenly remembered something and asked Liu Quan beside him, "Did he say what kind of meeting he was having?"
"He didn't say."
"Did they say where the meeting is going?"
"It seems they didn't say anything."
"Damn it, that son of a bitch."
