Chapter 61 Are you here to slap yourself in the face?

"Bang!" Xing Baohua slammed his hand on the table. Taking advantage of Hong Mingliang's stunned moment, he quickly put his hand behind his back and shook it, realizing he had used too much force.

"You son of a bitch, what the hell do you know? If you're good at technology, then get to work. If you're good at management, stop playing dirty tricks on me. Is your management system based on personal relationships or on rules? Can you explain that clearly? You know nothing, you're nothing, get out of here!" Xing Baohua said angrily.

This time, the door wasn't closed, and Xing Baohua's shouts carried. Many people heard it and turned to look.

Hong Mingliang's face turned red, and he pointed at Xing Baohua angrily, as if he had never been so insulted.

“Explain yourself clearly. If you can’t, we’ll go to the leaders to settle this. How can you let your employees do this? Playing with the calculator, why don’t you let someone else play? I think you’re just protecting Xu Shuai. If you don’t explain yourself clearly, I’ll, I’ll ask the personnel department to punish him for unjust absence.”

Xing Baohua nodded and said, "Okay."

After saying this, he walked up to Hong Mingliang, grabbed him by the back of the neck, and dragged him out of the office.

Xing Baohua thought these bastards would cause him trouble if he didn't discipline them for three days, and he didn't have time to play with them! This time, he would do something ruthless.

"What are you doing? Let go of me! Do you have any respect for discipline?" Hong Mingliang was neither as strong nor as tall as Xing Baohua. Being dragged out by the back of the neck made him feel utterly humiliated.

Liu Quan was startled by what he saw. Not understanding what had gotten into Xing Baohua, he quickly went to stop her.

Hou Liwei looked out the office window at everything happening outside, a slight smile appearing on his lips.

Xing Baohua pulled Hong Mingliang to the product line and picked up a calculator.

He pressed the buttons randomly with his fingers. Then he said to Liu Quan, "Bring me one with batteries."

After pressing the button a dozen times, he asked, "What do you understand now?"

No one knew what Xing Baohua meant, and some even wondered, what does pressing the calculator have to do with dealing with Hong Mingliang?

A moment later, Liu Quan brought over the calculator with the batteries installed. Xing Baohua pressed the button again, and the calculator emitted a synthesized voice, announcing the number he had pressed.

“Xu Shuai pressing the button here will affect production. I told him to go find a secluded place to press it. The main test is the durability of the regular battery and the enhanced battery. This way, the instruction manual will indicate the different battery types and their lifespans.”

While Hong Mingliang was in a daze, Xing Baohua picked up the one without batteries.

"Both the buttons and the motherboard have a lifespan. Pressing a button will cause a tiny amount of damage to the motherboard. Do you know the meaning of 'dripping water wears away a stone'? Over time, it will damage both the motherboard and the button. This is testing the number of times the button can be used. In other words, do I need to write in the manual how many times the button is supposed to last?"

After Xing Baohua finished speaking, he handed the computer in his hand to Liu Quan, who had been standing next to him. He walked over to Hong Mingliang, patted the other man's face, and said, "So, if you don't understand technology, stand aside and don't point fingers."

The surrounding workers had almost formed a circle around the city, watching the two leaders, especially Xing Baohua slapping Hong Mingliang's face. It was practically a slap in the face.

Hong Mingliang's face flushed red, and he couldn't utter a single word. Who could bear such humiliation? But he endured it.

And only now did he realize that Xing Baohua was using technical terms to manipulate him! He knew perfectly well that Xu Shuai wouldn't play with a calculator, but Xing Baohua claimed that he had arranged it and even made a sophistry, a reason that Xu Shuai couldn't refute.

If Hong Mingliang really caught Xu Shuai skipping work, he would have a reason. But right now, there's no evidence. If it really escalates to the factory leaders, Hong Mingliang knows he won't get away with it.

The factory is currently dealing with Xu Shuai's situation.

Moreover, pointing out Xu Shuai's mistakes was not the right time; the real intention was to embarrass Xing Baohua.

Now he's the one in an awkward and embarrassing situation; it's all his fault for looking for trouble.

Enraged, Hong Mingliang skipped class and rode off on his bicycle.

Liu Quan followed Xing Baohua back to the office, closed the door slightly, and said to Xing Baohua, "Hua Zi, why did we provoke him?"

As soon as he sat down, he said to Liu Quan, "I was just bored and provoked him. He was the one who came looking for trouble, so I just took care of him."

So he brought up Hong Mingliang's excuse about Xu Shuai's absence to annoy himself. He knew perfectly well about his relationship with Xu Shuai, yet he still came over to arm wrestle with him—wasn't he just asking for trouble?

"Go back and thoroughly understand the calculator's technology, and also find some management books to read. Also, now that Xu Shuai is gone, find a few clever people and train them to be your assistants," Xing Baohua said.

"Okay," Liu Quan nodded in agreement. Actually, he thought Xing Baohua, having been harassed today, wanted to recruit more of his own people. There's always someone forming cliques; recruiting more people to gain a foothold is nothing unusual.

In fact, Xing Baohua's other intention was to cultivate Liu Quan.

If Hong Mingliang hadn't come looking for trouble today, and Xing Baohua had left, then whoever wanted to compete for the directorship could compete; it wouldn't concern him anymore.

Now, humph, I'll make sure you get nothing.
