The propeller first contacts the ground, then breaks apart, and then the fuselage smashes the ground, creating a crater.
Russian products are indeed sturdy; the fuselage wasn't disintegrated, and apart from the tail section still being on fire, everything else was intact.
The Mi-8 crashed, and everyone in the cabin was injured, some with external injuries and some with internal injuries.
Of Xing Baohua's three remaining guards, only one was slightly able to move, and he immediately dragged Xing Baohua out.
Once on the ground, they checked under his nose and, finding that Xing Baohua was still breathing, dragged him away.
Because the crash occurred near a hunting area, close to a forest, the only guard dragged Xing Baohua into the jungle.
The woods are the safest place at dusk.
But just as they reached the edge of the forest, the Mi-8 exploded.
The guard, unsure whether his companion had emerged, continued to drag Xing Baohua into the woods with red eyes.
The Russians provided substantial support and launched an investigation.
Such a serious matter was quickly resolved. Xing Baohua was no ordinary person; he had been attacked and his whereabouts were currently unknown.
Who attacked?
The investigation is not yet complete, but judging from the firepower on site, some of the equipment used was American-made.
The AT4 only looks better than the RPG, but its performance is about the same, and it's a disposable item that you throw away after use, unlike the RPG which can be reused.
Where did the American-made goods come from in the Da Mao area, and from what channel?
And who were those attackers? Were they locals or infiltrators?
All Manchuria knew was that something had happened on the other side, but they didn't know the specifics. The distance was so close, and the fighting on the other side was so intense.
Sparks flew everywhere; even the fireworks set off during the Lunar New Year couldn't match the amount of sparks from that other fireworks.
But then I got nervous. Xing Baohua went there in the afternoon. What if he was affected?
When news came, it turned out that the people weren't affected at all, but were heading straight for him.
Two of his bodyguards died instantly, and two others, seriously injured, died before they could be taken to the hospital.
As for Xing Baohua, he is currently said to be missing.
The locals in Manchuria started calling Lao Mou, but the call wouldn't go through. They were really worried and sent people over to look for him and find out what was going on.
By 8 p.m., people in the capital already knew that Xing Baohua had gotten into trouble.
Captain Han immediately led his men to Manchuria.
When Xing Baohua woke up, it was already dark. He tried to turn over, but the pain from his chest wound made him groan softly.
"Boss, you're awake. How are you feeling?"
Xing Baohua saw a dark figure in front of him, the outline of which seemed somewhat familiar.
"I suspect you've broken a rib. How are you? What about them?"
"I'm fine, just a minor injury. They... 03 and 05 are gone. 06 and 08 were injured, and their fate is currently unknown."
Upon hearing this reply, Xing Baohua fell silent for a moment, realizing he had truly been careless this time.
Then he asked, "Where are we right now?"
“It’s 2 kilometers deep in the forest in the hunting area. If I weren’t exhausted, I could have dragged you a little further.”
"Thank you for your hard work!" Xing Baohua said, then laboriously raised his hand to check the time, finding it was past 2 a.m.
He added, "You should get some sleep first. I'm fine for now. We'll leave when it's light."
Old Mou was also extremely sleepy in the interrogation room. After the Russians finished interrogating him, Captain Han and the others interrogated him as well, and they wouldn't let him sleep.
He's said what he needed to say; he would never harm President Xing. Their relationship is so good, it must have been an accident.
I've said it so many times, but nobody believes me.
He felt utterly wronged. He just wanted to invite Mr. Xing over to relax and curry favor, but who knew he'd end up like this! He didn't even know who did it. How did his agritourism investment suddenly become a battlefield?
He said he co-founded the agritainment business with others, and that he had invested in a portion of it. However, the investigation by the Russian guy revealed that he was the sole owner and operator.
The registration information found was under his name, and the signature on it was his.
The name of the partner he mentioned was not on the registration information.
Old Mou then realized he had been tricked. He revealed the names of his frequent business partners and asked them to investigate.
Two of the three names were found, and both of those names had just been deleted.
As for the remaining one, he is missing.
Captain Han is helping Lao Mou with the extradition process. Although it's difficult, the Russians have agreed.
In the search for Xing Baohua, Mao Zige mobilized a large number of personnel, including several police dogs.
Unfortunately, it was of little use. The Mi 8 that Xing Baohua was carrying showed very little damage, and after it exploded, even the super dog was powerless to help.
Xing Baohua leaned against a tree and endured the night. When dawn broke, he heard dogs barking.
The person next to him, 02, is named Liu Shengang and comes from Chongqing.
He woke up after hearing the dog barking and became alert.
Xing Baohua leaned against a tree and thought all night, reflecting on his carelessness. He realized he could bribe the Russians. External forces could too, since the Russians valued money more than their own fathers.
If he were to go out at this point, his fate would be uncertain.
I'm worried about him not having anyone close to him! He might die during the transfer, or he might die in the hospital. The professionals over there can even shoot down airplanes; they have plenty of opportunities to kill him now.
Now we can only hide and try to find a way back.
Xing Baohua and Liu Shengang supported each other as they walked deeper into the woods.
It was called a forest, but it was no smaller than a woodland. The two walked from morning till evening, not knowing how many miles they had walked, and they were both hungry and exhausted.
Fortunately, Liu Shengang had jungle experience and knew how to find food and collect water.
That's how we managed to get through another day.
Looking at the stars in the sky at night, Xing Baohua pointed to the North Star, which is opposite the Big Dipper, and said, "That's due north. We're a bit northeast now."
