In that luxurious yet cozy room, Cai Yilin leaned lazily against the soft sofa, playing with a delicate little object in his hand, but his mind was filled with memories of his time with Wang Hu.
She was quite the veteran in love, having dated many different kinds of boyfriends, some gentle and considerate, others handsome and dashing, but none of them had ever given her such a strong shock as Wang Hu.
That feeling of extreme trembling was like a surging tide that engulfed her completely. Even after some time had passed, that feeling continued to resonate in her heart, making her want to relive it again and again.
When Cai Yilin learned that Wang Hu needed to apply for a passport and visa before he could come to see her, her face instantly filled with disappointment.
The disappointment was like a flood bursting its banks, overflowing from every glance and every subtle movement of hers.
Ever since she read the news about Wang Hu, his handsome and wealthy appearance has been constantly appearing in her mind. She imagines this dashing business tycoon gently pressing her down and giving her endless tenderness and passion.
Cai Yilin really missed Wang Hu terribly. In the end, she had no choice but to act like a willful and cute little girl and insist on having an intimate interaction with Wang Hu over the phone.
Wang Hu imagined Cai Yilin's coquettish appearance and felt that this woman seemed to have awakened some strange attribute. He felt both amused and somewhat helpless.
Wang Hu casually picked up his phone and took a selfie. In the photo, his eyes were deep and confident, with a faint smile on his lips, exuding the charm of a mature man.
After sending the photos, he couldn't help but jokingly say, "You'll have to deal with it yourself!" He had only intended to tease Cai Yilin and never expected the woman to do anything outrageous.
To everyone's surprise, half an hour later, a message from Cai Yilin suddenly popped up on Wang Hu's phone screen. It read, "Thank you, darling!" and included a photo of her looking disheveled yet alluring.
Wang Hu was stunned when he saw the message. His eyes widened and his mouth was slightly open, with an expression of disbelief.
He never expected that this woman would actually use his photo to do that kind of thing; it was completely beyond his expectations.
Wang Hu's fingers hesitated as he swiped across the phone screen. He had originally wanted to send a message to Cai Yilin to curse him, but he swallowed the words back.
He thought to himself that after he scolded her, the woman would probably not only not restrain herself, but would become even more excited, and might do something unexpected.
Besides, I quite like this feeling. Such a big star is so infatuated with me, it's exciting no matter how you look at it!
Thinking of this, Wang Hu shook his head and finally gave up the idea of sending her a message to scold her, and gently put his phone aside.
The following afternoon, the sun lazily shone on the earth, and the asphalt road was scorching hot. Wang Hu drove his black Maybach smoothly along the city streets.
Yu Hui sat in the passenger seat, wearing a light blue dress, her long, flowing hair casually draped over her shoulders. However, at this moment, her face was full of displeasure, her originally delicate features slightly furrowed due to her stifled mood.
Actually, she had been recovering quite well these past two days, and her life seemed to be full of color again.
She thought with delight that Wang Hu had finally come home and would spend some quality time with her, go shopping, watch a movie, and enjoy some time alone together.
Who knew that Wang Hu had only asked her to drive him to the airport. The whole way there, she kept pouting, looking like a wronged child, cute yet with a hint of annoyance.
The atmosphere inside the car was somewhat somber, with only the hum of the engine and the screeching of the tires against the pavement. Wang Hu would occasionally glance at Yu Hui out of the corner of his eye, and seeing her angry expression, he felt a mixture of helplessness and amusement.
He reached out and gently stroked Yu Hui's thigh, saying softly, "What's wrong, baby? Did I do something wrong to make you angry?" His voice was deep and gentle, with a hint of ingratiation.
Yu Hui was already feeling annoyed, and when Wang Hu touched her like that, her anger flared up instantly. Without hesitation, she slapped Wang Hu's hand away and said angrily, "What do you mean? You only go home for a little over a month a year, and when you do come home, all you do is make me take you to the airport! Humph!" Her voice was full of resentment, and every word seemed to carry a thorn.
Wang Hu knew exactly what she was thinking. He knew Yu Hui too well; this woman was gentle yet sensitive, yearning for companionship and affection. His eyes darted around, and he continued, "Baby, how about you come back with me?"
He had his own little plan in mind. Since the women in his family would eventually meet his parents anyway, he might as well bring Yu Hui back first to test the waters. Wang Hu felt his parents would like Yu Hui's gentle and kind personality. He could almost picture his parents' satisfied smiles towards Yu Hui, and a happy family scene.
Yu Hui's mind went blank for a moment, as if a sudden gust of wind had shattered her calm thoughts.
She never imagined that her usual coquettish pouting, intended only to ease the tension between Wang Hu, would escalate the situation so drastically. Wang Hu, like a wild horse, immediately shifted the topic to this. Her eyes widened in astonishment, her mouth agape, and she stood there, speechless for a long while.
