Shi Yanling walked lightly to the front door, her heart pounding as if some secret was about to be revealed. She cautiously peeked left and right to make sure no one was around before darting out the door like a nimble rabbit.
She held Wang Hu's arm tightly, and the two walked quickly to a corner of the alley, a relatively secluded spot where they wouldn't be easily spotted.
Shi Yanling's breathing was a little rapid, and her cheeks were slightly flushed, making her look both nervous and excited.
After a passionate and lingering kiss, Shi Yanling's lips were glistening with moisture. She was panting, her eyes glazed as she looked at Wang Hu, and asked softly, "Where's your car?"
Wang Hu smiled and explained, "I gave that car to my brother-in-law. I just got back today and haven't had time to buy a new one yet."
Shi Yanling's eyes widened, a hint of disappointment in her beautiful eyes, but it was quickly replaced by anticipation.
She looked at Wang Hu coquettishly, "So where shall we go tonight?"
A wicked smile crept across Wang Hu's lips as he leaned close to Shi Yanling's ear and whispered something.
Shi Yanling's ears turned bright red as if she had been electrocuted, and her face showed an expression of both anticipation and confusion.
"Is that alright? What if someone gets hurt?" Shi Yanling's voice trembled slightly, clearly feeling uneasy about Wang Hu's suggestion.
Wang Hu quickly reassured him, "Don't worry, I'll definitely find out if there's someone there beforehand!"
Seeing that Shi Yanling was still somewhat hesitant, he leaned closer to her ear and said gently, "I promise you'll love this feeling!"
Shi Yanling was torn. On the one hand, she was curious and looking forward to Wang Hu's suggestion, but on the other hand, she was worried about being discovered.
Finally, after Wang Hu's repeated assurances, she nodded.
The two walked side by side along the alley towards the edge of the village. Wang Hu's hand did not withdraw from under Shi Yanling's skirt. His fingers lightly caressed her thigh, causing Shi Yanling's body to tremble slightly.
Upon reaching the small river at the east entrance of the village, Wang Hu and Shi Yanling discovered that the river branched off, with two stone bridges spanning it. One bridge led into the town and, being a main thoroughfare, was frequently used; the other bridge led to another village, and in contrast, it was rarely used at night.
Between the two bridges stands a small building, a hydrological monitoring station built by the water resources department. However, it seems no one works there; it remains vacant. Furthermore, the building lacks even a door, making it a popular playground for children.
Wang Hu had originally planned to take Shi Yanling to the second stone bridge, but as they passed the small house, they suddenly heard intermittent sounds coming from inside, accompanied by deliberately suppressed breathing. This sound made Wang Hu stop and turn to look at Shi Yanling beside him. Her face instantly turned bright red, clearly indicating that she had guessed what was happening inside.
The two looked at each other, hesitating for a moment about whether to change locations.
Just then, they heard the man inside say, "You're about to marry Wang Jianjun, and you still come out to me in the middle of the night. What a slut!" These words were like a thunderclap in Wang Hu and Shi Yanling's ears.
When Wang Hu heard the words "Wang Jianjun" and "marriage," he was stunned, as if struck by lightning. These two keywords kept echoing in his mind, leaving him momentarily lost in thought.
Then he heard the woman continue, "Don't mention him, he's a complete blockhead. If it weren't for his nephew being rich, I wouldn't have married him!" These words were like a fire, instantly igniting the anger in Wang Hu's heart.
Without a second thought, he rushed into the room and kicked the naked man hard. Caught off guard, the man fell to the ground.
Enraged, Wang Hu grabbed the woman's hair and pulled her in front of him.
However, when he saw the woman's face clearly, he felt as if his head had exploded—he had mistaken her for someone else!
Wang Hu had seen the photo during the day; the woman in front of him was not the same person as in the photo at all!
Wang Hu's mind raced; he realized he had made a grave mistake. But it was too late to worry about anything else now.
He raised his hand and slapped the woman, cursing as he said, "You two are bullying me, aren't you? I'll make you famous tomorrow!"
After saying that, he pulled up Shi Yanling, who was still in a daze, and turned to walk out.
Just as the two reached the stone bridge leading back to the village, a man and a woman rushed out of the house and sped off on their electric bikes toward Huiliu Village.
Then he suddenly remembered that Shi Yanling's husband's family was also from Huiliu Village, so he casually asked, "Is there a man named Wang Jianjun in your village? Is he getting married in the next couple of days?"
After hearing this, Shi Yanling nodded slightly, indicating that it was indeed true.
Seeing this, Wang Hu immediately asked, "Does this guy named Wang Jianjun also have a nephew who's quite rich?"
Shi Yanling replied, "Yes, that's right. Wang Lifeng is his nephew. I heard he made his fortune by raising fish!"
Wang Hu nodded in sudden realization. "Oh, I see!" he thought to himself. He seemed to have actually heard of this Wang Lifeng before.
Moreover, it seems that Wang Lifeng in his previous life made his fortune by raising fish!
Shi Yanling finally came to her senses. She raised her eyebrows and said to Wang Hu with a half-smile, "So, you mistook someone for someone else and beat them up?"
Wang Hu was a little embarrassed by Shi Yanling's question. He chuckled twice, then hugged Shi Yanling tightly and walked towards the small bridge, muttering, "Alright, alright, let's not talk about them anymore!"
At this moment, the moon had slowly risen into the sky, and the soft moonlight, like a light veil, fell on the two of them, draping them in a layer of silvery glow.
The two stood quietly in the center of the small stone bridge. Wang Hu hugged Shi Yanling tightly from behind, as if he wanted to meld her into his own body.
Shi Yanling slowly turned her head and met Wang Hu's eyes. Their gazes met, and sparks of love ignited instantly.
Without hesitation, Shi Yanling offered her lips and passionately kissed Wang Hu.
Her hands reached back and gently stroked Wang Hu's hair, as if expressing endless love.
The suppressed breathing echoed across the water below, creating ripples in circles!
