Jin Wu clutched his arm and stared intently at George. He didn't believe that begging for mercy would make George let them go; otherwise, he wouldn't have killed several of his classmates without batting an eye.
“Don’t worry, I just need to borrow your eyes and heart.” George approached them with a sinister smile. He hadn’t done any art for several days, and his hands were itching to do it. Although his arm was injured, it didn’t stop him.
"I'd also like to borrow your head for a bit." A clear, sharp voice shattered the shadows in Jin Wu and the others' hearts.
"Teacher Ling."
"Teacher Ling."
"Teacher Ling."
Ling Moyuan, dressed in a slim black trench coat, appeared before everyone. The moonlight clearly illuminated his cold and stern face, and his entire body seemed to radiate coldness. His sharp eyes looked at George as if he were staring into an icy pool in October, sending chills down George's spine and filling him with fear.
This man is dangerous. George seemed to instinctively take a step back. This man gave him a terrifying feeling. Just looking into his eyes, George felt he couldn't meet his gaze.
He reached out and tried to grab Jin Wu and the others who were already in front of him to take them hostage.
Then he was quick, but Ling Moyuan was even faster. A flash of silver light, and George clutched his hand, which had been pierced by the arrow, in excruciating pain.
With even greater speed, another throwing knife was fired, piercing both of George's hands. One of his hands was even embedded in a tree trunk behind him, unable to be pulled out, causing him so much pain that he couldn't even scream.
"Where are the others?" Ling Moyuan stared at Jin Wu and the others with displeasure.
“Mengmeng and Xiaowu were both killed by him, and we don’t know if Jinfeng is alive or dead. She was still alive when we left,” Jinwu said, clutching his arm and enduring the pain.
"Where is he?" The sharp eyes met George's, and George felt as if someone was choking him.
"Under the big tree up ahead." George dared not lie now, because he felt that if he did, the other party would definitely see through it. His hands, already pale from the knife wounds, were now as white as a sheet of paper. Cold sweat beaded on his forehead.
Ling Moyuan glanced at Jin Wu, his eyes devoid of any emotion. He searched George's body, finding his gun and scalpel, then tied him up. He tore a strip of cloth from his body, looked at its filth, and then discarded it with a hint of disgust.
Turning to Jin Wu, she tore a strip of cloth from her own body and used it to bandage Jin Wu's injured hand, saying calmly, "Bear with it."
Jin Wu nodded in understanding, despite the persistent, tingling pain in his arm.
Besides Jin Wu and his group, five other classmates signed the agreement and left in the afternoon, but Jin Wu and his group did not meet them.
When George led them to Liang Jinfeng, they found her unconscious from blood loss after being stabbed in the back during her escape. Had Ling Moyuan and the others not arrived, she might have truly succumbed to her injuries.
Fortunately, George abandoned Liang Jinfeng here in order to pursue Jin Wu and his men; otherwise, according to his original plan, he would have put on an artistic performance, gouging out her eyes and taking her heart.
Besides Liang Jinfeng, the group also found Mengmeng and Xiao Wu, who had been murdered. Both died from excessive blood loss after their carotid arteries were severed.
