Mo Jing's lips twitched involuntarily. He must have had a major battle with the kitchen.
On the cutting board, a crucian carp was jumping and thrashing about before finally leaping to the floor. The water in the sink was gushing open, splashing everywhere—garlic, tomatoes, chicken, and other ingredients. A broken egg lay on the floor. The pot lid was on the floor, and the stir-fried vegetables inside were completely burnt, even smelling burnt, with oil splattered everywhere.
"What are you planning to make for me to eat?" Mo Jing couldn't help but ask, a teasing smile creeping onto her lips. This man, who was always so aloof and like a king, actually had things he couldn't handle.
"I originally planned to stir-fry two dishes and make a crucian carp soup, but it looks like I won't be able to do that now." Although he had made a complete mess of the kitchen, Ling Moyuan was still dry in the mess. Even though he was wearing a pink apron that seemed rather funny and didn't quite match his temperament, it still couldn't hide the kingly aura emanating from him.
It gives people the illusion that he was not the one who caused all of this, and that he was just an observer all along.
Mo Jing went into the kitchen, picked up the fish that was jumping on the floor, and put it in a bowl. She also picked up the pot lid and put it aside. Then she picked up a broom and cleaned up the eggs and other debris on the floor.
Then, after washing each vegetable in the sink, he turned and asked, "Bring me three vegetable plates."
Ling Moyuan opened the cabinet above his head, took out three plates of food, and handed them to Mo Jing.
Mo Jing placed the washed vegetables into separate plates and set them aside. Turning around, she walked to the stove and saw the completely yellowed greens in the pot, some even burnt at the bottom, emitting a burnt smell. Mo Jing looked at them and then asked, "Where's the spatula?"
Ling Moyuan then took a spatula from the cabinet below and handed it to Mo Jing.
Mo Jing looked at Ling Moyuan's actions and couldn't even laugh. He didn't even take out a spatula to cook the vegetables. No wonder the vegetables turned out like this.
Pour the burnt vegetables into the trash can, and then scrub the pot clean with a brush.
"Where's the rag?"
Ling Moyuan then took out a rag and handed it to Mo Jing, who wiped away the oil splattered around the edge of the stove.
"Take off your apron." Mo Jing picked up the tomato and placed it on the cutting board. After washing the knife, she prepared to start cooking herself.
With a slight smile on his face, Ling Moyuan took off the ridiculous pink apron from his body, and Mo Jing was about to reach out to take it.
But Ling Moyuan was quicker and put the apron on her, then walked behind her and tied the straps for her.
It's summer now, and Mo Jing's clothes are so simple that a short-sleeved t-shirt can't hide her slender and graceful waist.
Standing behind him, Ling Moyuan could tell by sight that Mo Jing had a good figure, but was also very thin. He should help her gain some weight.
A large, warm hand reached around from behind her, encircling Mo Jing's slender waist. He rested his head on her shoulder, and his magnetic voice, like a vintage wine, was warm and refreshing: "How can you be so thin? I prefer you to be a little plumper."
