Bai Jiaojiao was eager to verify that all of this was true, and her first reaction was to run towards Shen Heng.
Bai Jiaojiao disregarded everything and stepped barefoot onto the kang (heated brick bed), but due to Shen Heng's indulgence the previous night, her legs were weak and she almost fell to the ground.
Just as Bai Jiaojiao thought she was about to fall, the enamel basin crashed to the ground, and a pair of strong hands caught her, her arms filled with a warm, soft embrace.
It was June, and the weather was beautiful. Bai Jiaojiao was only wearing a tank top that Shen Heng had put on her the night before, revealing her fair and delicate arms. Shen Heng's first reaction was to look away.
