Bai Shibao stared at Bai Jiaojiao's figure for a long time without coming back to his senses.
He suddenly had the illusion that Bai Jiaojiao was originally his good sister.
"Bai Shibao! You have such a beautiful girl at home, why have you never told me?! You're not being a good friend!"
Bai Shibao's senior brother punched Bai Shibao, and then stared at Bai Jiaojiao's receding figure along with Bai Shibao.
"My younger sister is already married."
Bai Shibao withdrew his gaze and patted his senior brother's shoulder: "Her man is ruthless, you'd better not even think about it."
When Shen Heng finished work, the sky was already tinged with the colors of sunset.
After Bai Jiaojiao delivered the food and left, Shen Heng's thoughts went home with her.
As soon as he finished work, Shen Heng rushed home as if he were being chased by wolves.
But when he got to his doorstep, he felt a little timid.
The aroma of the food could be smelled from outside the yard, and Chen Heng couldn't help but swallow.
He cursed himself in his heart as a "coward" and reached out to push the door open.
As soon as he entered, he saw Bai Jiaojiao squatting in the yard, fiddling with a few bamboo poles, as if she were practicing some kind of fighting.
"Heng-ge, you're back!"
The gate was in disrepair and creaked as soon as it was opened. Bai Jiaojiao heard the noise and turned around to see Shen Heng.
"What are you doing?" Shen Heng was clearly back in his own home, but he suddenly became a little reserved.
"Since I'm not too busy these next couple of days, I want to set up the trellis and plant some green beans and cucumbers," Bai Jiaojiao said, putting down her work. "Brother Heng, the food's already in the pot, go wash your hands."
