Chapter 3 If you can talk, then talk more; Ama loves to hear it.

Hongxi is too young now. He wanted to complain a bit after hearing the name Faka, but he fell asleep in the blink of an eye.

Looking at the little guy sleeping soundly, even though he wanted to hear more about what happened in his past life, Yinreng could only suppress his curiosity and let the wet nurse take him away.

"Go and coax the little prince to sleep."

After bowing, the wet nurse left with little Hongxi in her arms.

With no little one to play with, Yinzhen could only sit quietly to the side and drink tea.

"Is Second Brother trying to cause some trouble for Faka during this trip?" Yinzhen thought to himself, and naturally said it aloud.

Faka is the maternal uncle of the tenth prince, Yin'e, and the tenth prince and the ninth prince are always following the eighth prince around.

If we could cause them some trouble, that would be even better.

Yinreng pondered for a moment, and just as Yinzhen was planning how to torment Faka, he heard his second brother's lazy voice.

"Send him a message, saying that there might be an assassination attempt on this trip, and tell him to be careful."

Yinzhen was stunned.

He didn't understand why his second brother didn't take this opportunity to deal with Faka and Lao Shi, but he knew that his second brother knew how to act.

Therefore, even though he had many questions in his mind, he ultimately said nothing.

The group of princes accompanying Rehe consisted of six princes: the eldest prince, the crown prince, the fourth prince, the eighth prince, the ninth prince, and the tenth prince.

Among them, the Crown Prince and the Eighth Prince Yinzhi brought their families, while the other princes went alone.

On the way, Yinreng naturally rode in the same carriage as Kangxi.

Because Yinreng wanted to hear Hongxi's thoughts, the little guy would be brought to Yinreng's side by the wet nurse whenever he woke up along the way.

So, inside the huge carriage...

Emperor Kangxi would personally feed the Crown Prince any delicious food he saw, while the Crown Prince would always hold the infant Hongxi.

The father and his two sons formed a wonderful cycle of pampering.

Wow, Grandpa still loves Grandma as much as ever. But this love is taking its toll; Grandpa, hang in there!

Yinreng: ...

Tell me, how am I supposed to hold on?

Yinreng glanced at the various pastries and fruits on the small table and felt that the baby in his arms was too small and couldn't eat anything, which was really distressing.

"Is this child hungry? Why are his big eyes darting around like that?"

Having experience raising children, Emperor Kangxi immediately recognized Hongxi's intentions upon seeing him looking around.

He immediately ordered Liang Jiugong to bring over the milk porridge. Then he saw Kangxi holding Hongxi in one arm and holding the milk porridge for him in the other.

"Hongxi, are you hungry? Grandpa will feed you milk porridge."

Ahhhhh... Grandpa is so understanding!

Yinreng raised an eyebrow, watching Hongxi gulp down the milk porridge, and touched his nose somewhat embarrassedly.

There was nothing he could do; it was his first time raising a child.

The little guy didn't say anything, he just kept turning his big eyes around. How could he know that the other person was hungry?

With Kangxi's help, Hongxi quickly finished the bowl of milk porridge. Even Kangxi, who had raised a child before, was somewhat surprised to see that he was so unpicky about food.

"This child is really easy to raise; he quietly finished a whole bowl of milk porridge."

Yinreng couldn't understand Kangxi's overreaction. "Aren't all children like this?"

Emperor Kangxi couldn't help but glance at the Crown Prince. "You were very difficult to coax when you were little. It would take a long time to coax you into eating a single bite of a bowl of milk porridge."

At this point, Kangxi couldn't help but recall the scene of feeding Yinreng in the past.

[Grandpa was both father and mother to his father back then, it really wasn't easy. Father, say something nice to comfort him.]

Yinreng pursed his lips.

He didn't remember much about his childhood, but hearing his son's words and seeing Kangxi lost in memories, he felt a little embarrassed.

"Father Emperor must have worried himself sick when he raised me. I will take good care of Father Emperor in the future."

Kangxi looked at Yinreng in shock.

This is a child he has raised with his own hands for over twenty years; he knows his personality perfectly well.

It felt unreal that he could say such cheesy things to himself.

When Liang Jiugong heard the sudden silence inside the carriage, his heart jumped. He simply asked, "Your Majesty, the scenery further ahead is quite nice. Would you like to stop and rest?"

Kangxi, still looking unreal and bewildered, blankly replied, "Okay."

So, even after the carriage stopped, Yinreng's face was still slightly flushed.

Good heavens! He had lived for over twenty years and had never uttered such cheesy words. Not only was Emperor Kangxi shocked, but even he himself was utterly astonished when he said them.

Thinking of this, he slapped Hongxi, who had just fallen asleep, hard on his little bottom.

Hongxi was already asleep when he was startled by the sudden slap and burst into tears.

Upon hearing the crying, Emperor Kangxi, who had just alighted from the carriage, instinctively lifted the curtain and saw Yinreng frantically trying to soothe the child. He was so angry that he laughed.

He flung the carriage curtain aside and happily drove away with Liang Jiugong.

[Is my father crazy? Why is he hitting me? Shouldn't your target be the Emperor? Aaaaaaahhhhhh...]

Yinreng: You'd better shut up.

When Yinzhen and Yin'e heard that Hongxi had been brought here, they were both curious and took the opportunity during their rest to visit the child together.

They were not in the same faction as Yinreng, but they all showed affection for the gentle and mild-mannered Hongxi.

So, Hongxi groggily opened his eyes and saw two chubby heads staring at him intently.

Upon seeing him open his eyes, the two immediately broke into big smiles.

Hongxi paused for a moment, then immediately returned a big smile.

Uncle Nine and Uncle Ten are still so handsome, it's just a pity they're not on the same page as Father.

Yinreng sat to the side drinking tea, and casually raised an eyebrow to glance at his two troublesome younger brothers.

He had always been puzzled as to why these two heartless fellows were so willing to follow Yinzhi around.

Especially Yin'e, whose birth mother, Consort Wenxi, was of extremely high status, and whose Niohuru family was even more prominent.

A prince of such status, unless he deliberately courts disaster, is practically born at the finish line of someone else's life.

Even if he himself wanted to compete for the throne, Yinreng was not surprised at all. Why did he have to follow behind a prince born to a slave in the Imperial Household Department?

Sigh, if Uncle Nine hadn't thought it was Uncle Eight who saved him, he wouldn't have been so devoted to him. Uncle Ten is a brother-obsessed brother; whoever Uncle Nine follows, he follows.

Yinreng raised an eyebrow. "The Eighth Prince saved the Ninth Prince?"

How could he not know about this? It seems we need to send someone to investigate.

Unfortunately, it was Fourth Uncle who saved Uncle Nine, not Eighth Uncle.

Yinreng: ...

Son, if you can talk, then talk more; your father loves to hear it.
