Chapter Fifty-Two: Using My Cup Once

Xu Wen gently placed the cup on Song Mu's desk, then stood quietly to the side. Song Mu ignored Xu Wen, picked up the cup, gently blew on the rim twice, and then took a sip of coffee.

"Is there something you need?" Song Mu put down his coffee cup and asked Xu Wen, who had walked to the window. Xu Wen turned around, looked at Wang Shen for a moment, and then walked to Song Mu's right.

"What do you want to do?" Seeing Xu Wen getting closer and closer, Song Mu tried to stand up from his chair to get away from her. But as soon as he got halfway up, his whole body seemed to lose its strength, and he sat back down in the chair. Song Mu rubbed his temples and shook his head, trying to clear his head as much as possible.

"What? Feeling completely drained?" Xu Wen slowly moved closer to Song Mu's face, looking into his eyes and smiling slightly. Looking at Song Mu's face, Xu Wen suddenly kissed him on the cheek. Song Mu angrily turned his head to the side and pushed Xu Wen away.

"What exactly did you do to me?" Song Mu asked, glaring at Xu Wen.

"Oh! It's nothing, I just added something else to your coffee." Xu Wen glanced at Song Mu's cup, a strange smile still playing on her lips.

"What, what exactly do you want to do!"

"What do I want to do? Senior, shouldn't I be asking you what you want to do? Is it worth it for that woman?" Xu Wen's smile vanished, and her eyes clearly showed resentment.

"What exactly do you know?" Song Mu frowned, looking at Xu Wen with the same gaze.

Xu Wen moved closer to Song Mu, bent down, opened the drawer on the right side of Song Mu's desk, and took out Song Mu's diary. Holding the diary in her hand, Xu Wen smugly enjoyed the complex expression on Song Mu's face.

"How dare you enter my office without my permission!" Song Mu gritted his teeth, seemingly only able to maintain his sanity through sheer willpower. Suddenly, Song Mu grabbed the cup in his left hand and threw it at Xu Wen, who was standing to his right. Song Mu was far too weak; the cup barely left his hand before it crashed onto the carpet next to the chair. The cup remained intact, but the coffee inside had spilled all over the carpet. This "poisoned" coffee still smelled so fragrant; no wonder it hadn't aroused any suspicion from Song Mu.

"Senior, you actually went to murder for that shameless woman. Do you think what the police will do if they get their hands on this diary? Have you thought about what will happen to you?" Xu Wen asked Song Mu as she flipped through the diary.

Song Mu's face was gloomy, and he had neither the energy nor the mood to deal with Xu Wen's questions.

“Now that I’ve discovered your secret, I have to help you stop this wrong thing you’re doing. What can I do? I love you so much.” A tear slid down Xu Wen’s delicate face. She wiped it away and then smiled. At this moment, she had to convince herself that she was doing the right thing.

Xu Wen put her hand in her pocket and pulled out a bottle of medicine. "Look, you should be familiar with this medicine, right?" After carefully examining the label, Xu Wen was holding a bottle of sleeping pills. "Don't worry, this won't cause much pain. You know that."

Song Mu braced himself against the chair, straightening up slightly, but quickly collapsed back down, as if all his strength had given way. A flicker of terror finally appeared in Song Mu's eyes; he twisted and turned in the chair, unable to escape this forbidden zone of death.

Xu Wen had already reached her. She held Song Mu's chin with one hand, carefully admiring his face, as if bidding him a final farewell. Song Mu still tried his best to twist his head, attempting to break free from Xu Wen's clutches.

"Trust me, it will all be over soon," Xu Wen whispered in Song Mu's ear, gently kissing his cheek again. After saying this, Xu Wen surprisingly got up and left Song Mu's side. She glanced around the office, her gaze landing on the couple's mug next to the flowerpot. Xu Wen smiled, walked to the flowerpot, and bent down to pick up the mug. She filled it with water, then turned to look at Song Mu before returning to his side.

"You've never used this cup, have you? It's the only gift I ever gave you. It's such a beautiful cup, what a waste. Okay, just use it for me this once. Anyway, it's the last time." Xu Wen's smile never faded as she spoke.

The terror in Song Mu's eyes deepened. He couldn't have imagined that Xu Wen's obsession would twist her behavior to this extent. But before long, Song Mu actually laughed too, watching Xu Wen laugh more and more unrestrainedly.

"What are you laughing at?" Xu Wen was clearly surprised by Song Mu's laughter, stopped what she was doing, and looked at Song Mu.

"I was laughing at myself before, but now I'm laughing at you. What difference is there between you and me? No, I should say, what difference is there between you and me?" Song Mu said weakly, her voice barely audible, as she managed to utter these words with all her might.

"No! Of course there's a difference between us. I did this for you, for love, and what about you! What about you!" Xu Wen's emotions became somewhat agitated, even the water glass in her hand was shaking violently. "However, after today, your mistakes will end. Let me help you salvage the last bit of your dignity." After saying that, Xu Wen stared at Song Mu for a while, placed the couple's glass on the desk, then unscrewed the bottle of sleeping pills and poured a handful into her hand.

“Come on, eat these, and it will all be over.” Xu Wen held a handful of sleeping pills and slowly approached Song Mu. Song Mu looked at the contorted expression on Xu Wen's face, pursed his lips, and twisted his body. Xu Wen pressed her lips to Song Mu's, but Song Mu refused to cooperate. After a few minutes, Xu Wen finally lost patience, and her actions became rough. Xu Wen grabbed Song Mu's cheek, forcefully pried open his mouth, and then shoved all the sleeping pills into his mouth. After shoving the pills in, Xu Wen immediately grabbed a water glass from the desk and forced it down Song Mu's throat. Song Mu choked and vomited some of the sleeping pills, but most of them were still forced into his stomach by Xu Wen. Song Mu stared wide-eyed at the “crazy” Xu Wen.

Xu Wen looked at Song Mu, who was in a slight twitching state, and laughed. However, Xu Wen was not giving up. She took the bottle containing the sleeping pills back and poured them all into Song Mu's mouth. "See, that's it. I told you, the cup I gave you is much more useful than your own, isn't it?"

Song Mu's face flushed red as he stared intently at Xu Wen.

"Senior, don't look at me like that." After saying that, Xu Wen suddenly hugged Song Mu.
