His gaze was drawn to the group of imposing bodyguards, dressed in black suits and wearing sunglasses, who surrounded Chen Ze on both sides, like an impenetrable protective wall.
Passersby cast curious glances, wondering whose rich young master was traveling with so many bodyguards.
"President Chen, over here!" Ge Weidong shouted loudly, waving his hand to attract Chen Ze's attention.
Upon hearing the sound, Chen Ze immediately turned around and saw Ge Weidong. He smiled and walked straight towards Ge Weidong.
Chen Ze walked briskly and powerfully through the crowd and quickly arrived in front of Ge Weidong. The two smiled at each other and then shook hands firmly.
"Mr. Ge, I'm sorry to have kept you waiting," Chen Ze said, his voice conveying a sense of warmth.
Ge Weidong smiled and replied, "I just arrived five minutes ago. Mr. Chen, you must be tired from your journey." Then, he gestured for him to come in, "Let's go, we'll talk more in the car."
Chen Ze nodded and walked with Ge Weidong to the car parked by the roadside. The car door opened, and Chen Ze got in first, followed by Ge Weidong.
The convoy slowly started, leaving the airport road and heading towards its destination. The atmosphere inside the car was relaxed and harmonious, and Chen Ze and Ge Weidong began to talk.
"How did the battle go yesterday?" Chen Ze asked with concern.
A confident pride appeared on Ge Weidong's face. "Just like the day before yesterday, the opponent's attack was very fierce, but our team performed excellently and still successfully thwarted their offensive."
