He led his remaining teammates back into the space, and after seeing everyone return to their rooms, he stared at the scene through the space with an extremely grim expression.
Their base, once their home, is now occupied by all sorts of disgusting alien beasts.
Junjue and Wan'er's eyes were filled with helplessness and despair; their past efforts and sacrifices seemed to have vanished into nothingness.
The entire base was occupied by layers upon layers of alien beasts, their sheer number inspiring awe.
The six mountain peaks, once their fortresses, have now become the dwelling places of alien beasts.
Disgusting alien beasts occupied every corner of the base, exuding an aura of blood and death.
Junjue and Wan'er were filled with endless pain and helplessness.
"Lord Jun, what are we going to do now? Is there any hope for Blue Star?" Wan'er's voice trembled; she could no longer bear this despair and fear.
The Duke remained silent for a moment, his gaze fixed firmly on the alien beast outside the space. "Now we only have one path to take: fight to the last moment, or wait for a new turning point." His voice was filled with distress.
“But compared to all the alien beasts on the entire planet, our few robots really have no chance of winning. If we continue fighting like this, it will only be like throwing eggs against rocks,” Wan’er said, shaking her head.
Junjue gently stroked Wan'er's hair, his voice slightly hoarse as he said, "Wan'er, I know."
I also know that Earth may become uninhabitable, and those alien beasts are our adversaries; it's impossible for us to coexist peacefully under the same sky.
"Let's not talk about this anymore. We've all been exhausted for so long, let's go back and rest!" Wan'er said, feeling unwell.
"good!"
The two people, dressed in tattered and bloodstained clothes, slowly left the space.
For more than half a month, the base personnel and the aliens engaged in fierce battles.
Everyone was covered in blood and looked utterly wretched. They had finally returned to a base commander's safe zone, far away from this hellish massacre.
However, when they thought about how their base had been completely overrun by hordes of alien beasts, the despair and helplessness they felt caused them immense pain.
Of the more than 60,000 people eliminated in the previous battles, only more than 20,000 remained.
They were survivors of the disaster. The survivors sat on the ground in the safe area, their clothes tattered and covered in wounds, their painful groans echoing through the air.
A young boy, his eyes bloodshot, struggled to his feet from deep pain, looking at his exhausted teammates.
He gritted his teeth, trying to control his emotions, but he couldn't hide the tears in his eyes.
"We've been through so much," he said, his voice trembling with immense pain and helplessness.
A burly middle-aged soldier straightened his back, gripped his weapon, and looked firmly at the young sergeant.
"Yes, we've experienced too much death and suffering. But we're still alive, and that's the only thing we can do," he said firmly, trying to give the young soldiers some courage.
"But the base... our home has been completely destroyed. These nightmares have never stopped. What else can we do?" the young sergeant asked, choking back tears.
The middle-aged soldier remained silent for a moment, staring at the ruins and the remaining smoke and dust.
He knew it was a painful and unbearable reality, but he couldn't give up.
"We cannot let these monsters succeed so easily. We fight for survival, we fight for the home we have already lost."
"If we choose to give up, then their sacrifice will be meaningless." The middle-aged soldier's voice was full of determination and resolve.
The other survivors joined in, and they stood up together. Even though their bodies were in excruciating pain, their inner passion still burned brightly.
"We cannot be ruled by fear," a young woman declared, touching her wounds with both hands, but showing no sign of giving up.
"That's right," another older soldier added, "We are human beings; we have dignity and will. Even if more demons attack, we will rise up and fight back without fear."
As these words were conveyed, an indomitable force surged among the survivors; despair vanished from their eyes, replaced only by an unyielding will to fight.
They stood there silently, as if staring at the dark ruins ahead, their cold and resolute expressions revealing their determination.
Although their base has fallen, the pure place in their hearts, their will and courage, still burn brightly.
"Let us fight for all the victims, for them, for our future!" the middle-aged soldier shouted, his voice piercing the darkness and silence.
The survivors silently gripped their weapons, their hearts burning with rage. They would face endless darkness, but they were no longer afraid.
Their former base will become their new battlefield. They will fight with their blood and courage for their former homeland and for survival.
Those base personnel who hadn't gone out to fight saw that of the more than 60,000 who had gone out, only so few remained, and everyone stood at the entrance, tears streaming down their faces.
Many people lingered around the more than 20,000 survivors, anxiously searching for their relatives.
Having found their loved ones, the two embraced and wept with joy.
Those who couldn't find their relatives squatted there, crying in distress.
In many rooms of the space, a group of survivors gathered together, their eyes moist and their expressions distressed.
At this moment, the bustling crowd outside the base had disappeared, leaving only a few people.
