Qin Yin entered the elevator, and Lu Wan stopped in her tracks upon seeing it, not approaching.
The butler invited Lu Wan to sit down. Lu Wan thanked him and sat on the sofa. Although she was very worried and anxious, she could only wait.
Qin Yin carried Li Mu to his bed and ordered his men to call a doctor.
The bodyguard agreed and immediately left to find the doctor.
Qin Yin sat on the edge of the bed and just looked at Li Mu. Li Mu's brows were tightly furrowed, and he was muttering something. Qin Yin leaned down to try to hear what Li Mu was saying, but it was too messy, and he couldn't understand what Li Mu was saying at all.
Just as he was about to listen more carefully, a knock on the door interrupted Qin Yin's actions.
The private doctor came in after hearing Qin Yin's words.
Qin Yin stood up and gave up his seat, and the doctor quickly stepped forward to examine him.
After a while, the doctor said to Qin Yin, "Chairman Qin, this young lady is fine, she's just temporarily unconscious."
Qin Yin asked when he would wake up.
The doctor quickly replied that the young lady had been suffering from chronic sleep deprivation, so she might not wake up so soon, but would wake up by evening at the latest.
Are you sure there's really nothing seriously wrong?
The doctor felt that these words had crossed his line. He was an outstanding general practitioner, and he couldn't allow himself to be questioned, not even by his sugar daddy. Just as he was about to say something, he saw...
Qin Yin waved his hand.
He immediately chickened out and wisely withdrew.
Qin Yin snapped his fingers, and the bodyguard immediately opened the door and stood respectfully at the entrance.
Qin Yin instructed the young maid downstairs to tell her that Li Mu was alright and would wake up later, and to arrange dinner for him and find him a room to rest.
The bodyguard agreed and immediately went out to relay the message.
Lu Wan was relieved to learn that Li Mu was alright.
I didn't go to eat or to the room arranged by the housekeeper; I just sat on the sofa and waited quietly.
After the doctor left, Qin Yin sat down by Li Mu's bedside and fell asleep leaning against the chair. When Li Mu woke up, she looked at the dark ceiling and then around, which was also completely dark.
A man was sitting beside her bed, looking dignified and languid.
Li Mu sat up and carefully examined the man beside the bed, discovering that it was Qin Yin.
Qin Yin sensed someone approaching, raised his head, and exuded a cold aura. When he realized it was Li Mu, he quickly withdrew his aura.
In Li Mu's eyes, Uncle Qin was the kind of elegant and dashing young nobleman, with his naturally smiling lips that gave people a very approachable feeling.
This was the first time Li Mu had ever felt Qin Yin's chilling aura, and Li Mu couldn't help but shiver.
Qin Yin saw Li Mu tremble slightly in fear, and a sudden panic gripped his heart.
He remained outwardly calm and gently helped her sit back on the bed.
He asked with concern, "How are you feeling now? I'll call the doctor over to take another look at you."
As he spoke, Qin Yin got up to go find a doctor.
Seeing Qin Yin get up to leave, Li Mu quickly stood up and grabbed Qin Yin.
Qin Yin froze on the spot when he felt the little girl gripping his wrists tightly with both hands.
With a slightly stiff turn, she pressed Li Mu back onto the bed. "Sit down quickly, I won't go."
Li Mu bit her lip, looked at Qin Yin and said, "Uncle Qin, thank you. You saved me again."
It was somewhat amusing to see the little girl's words of deep gratitude.
Then he couldn't help but burst out laughing, and his hearty laughter reached Li Mu's ears.
Is it really that funny? I'm being honest, okay?
Qin Yin stopped laughing and said jokingly, "Do you remember last time? You owe me a meal."
Li Mu was a little embarrassed, her eyes darting around, and she gave an awkward smile, weakly saying, "How about I owe you another meal?"
Qin Yin pursed his lips and said with a somewhat indulgent smile, "Eating out is expensive, and I'm a little worried about your money. I have a question, can you answer it properly?"
How could Li Mu dare to object? He had no choice but to agree. "Alright, ask away."
I may be being a bit presumptuous, but I really want to know, do you often have nightmares, and how long has it been since you had a good night's sleep?
Li Mu was stunned. How did he know?
Because every time I see someone in a coma, they are frowning and talking in their sleep, and the doctor also says that you have been suffering from chronic sleep deprivation.
Li Mu thought for a moment, then said in a relaxed tone, "It's just a nightmare I've been having for the past two months." As she spoke, she took out a handkerchief and held it up in front of Qin Yin.
The scent of this handkerchief could stop my nightmares, but after half a month, the scent disappeared and I started having nightmares again.
Li Mu became increasingly helpless and depressed as he spoke.
Qin Yin looked at the handkerchief held in front of him and said with some helplessness, "This handkerchief is mine."
Li Mu looked at Qin Yin in surprise. "You said this handkerchief is yours, which means..."
Qin Yin quickly said, "All I could do was call the police, I really didn't do anything else."
Li Mu was somewhat suspicious, but didn't press the matter further.
Qin Yin asked with some curiosity, "Are you sure my aura can stop you from having nightmares?"
Li Mu thought for a moment, then nodded firmly and said, "I'm sure. I slept very soundly after you saved me last time."
Qin Yin smiled faintly, took a new handkerchief from his pocket and handed it to Li Mu. His calm and sexy voice came through, "Hope you sleep well!"
Li Mu bit her lip, took off her handkerchief, and quickly lowered her head to avoid looking at Qin Yin's face.
Qin Yin added with amusement, "If your breath dissipates, remember to come find me again, okay?"
Li Mu nodded hurriedly, giving a somewhat hesitant reply.
Seeing the little girl like this, I couldn't bear to continue.
Little girl, come downstairs with me for dinner. Your good friend Lu Wan is waiting for you down there.
Upon hearing this, Li Mu quickly got up and hurriedly tried to run out, but Qin Yin quickly helped her up.
When the elevator was almost at the lobby on the first floor, she let go of Li Mu's hand.
Li Mu didn't notice this. When the elevator doors opened, he immediately saw Lu Wan and quickly walked towards her.
Qin Yin followed slowly behind the little girl, his hands in his pockets.
When Lu Wan saw Li Mu coming out of the elevator, she quickly got up and walked to Li Mu's side, circling around him. "I'm so glad you're alright."
I was so scared! I heard from Uncle Qin that you almost got hit by a car. Waaaaah, I was so scared!
As she spoke, Lu Wan burst into tears.
Li Mu felt somewhat helpless and comforted Lu Wan while holding her in his arms.
Qin Yin quickly stepped in to defuse the situation, saying to Lu Wan, "Little girl, so many people are watching you. Have you cried enough? Wipe away your tears. I'm going to eat now. I'm so hungry. You're not going to keep crying, are you?"
Lu Wan wiped away her tears somewhat embarrassedly and lowered her head, not daring to look at anyone.
Hearing Qin Yin's words, Li Mu suppressed a laugh and quickly followed suit.
The three of them went into the restaurant, finished their meal, and Qin Yin asked the driver to take Li Mu and Lu Wan back to the Li family home.
