Chapter 3359 A Happy Ending

"Oh... my dear grandson!"

My niece's eyes were squinting with laughter, and she couldn't stop smiling. She excitedly touched herself all over. She had to give her grandson a gift. It was all her son's fault. He didn't tell her that he had such a wonderful grandson. If she had known she was going to have a grandson, she would never have refused to let her daughter-in-law into the family!

Nothing compares to my eldest grandson!

My niece immediately recalled the words she had used to strongly oppose Gao Shengnan, blaming Shi Junjie for keeping it from her.

She took all the money out of her pocket, about a thousand yuan, and stuffed it all into Xiaobao's hands, saying, "Take this money to buy candy, sweetie."

Shi Junjie nudged his mother, handed her a stack of money, and whispered a reminder, "And there's also Tongtong from my cousin's family."

His mother was so happy that she forgot about Tongtong. You can't favor one child over the other.

The niece was stunned for a moment before noticing Fang Yanming's family. She slapped her forehead in annoyance, realizing she had almost made a mistake. Luckily, her son reminded her.

"These are Tongtong's, they all belong to her!"

Fang Yanming found it amusing; he had seen the little thing the mother and daughter had done. Actually, it wouldn't have mattered even if his niece hadn't given him the money; family doesn't stand on ceremony.

But giving it to him naturally made him feel comfortable. It has to be said that Shi Junjie's work is indeed very considerate, and it's no wonder that he was able to become a sales champion in just a few years. His high emotional intelligence must be related to this.

"Thank you, Grandma."

Tongtong politely thanked him and followed Shi Xiaobao's lead in calling him "Grandma." Mao Fangfei laughed and corrected her, "You should call her 'Auntie,' not 'Grandma.'"

"Xiao Bao called Grandma."

Tongtong pouted, unhappy.

She should be treated the same as Xiaobao, so why should only she be called "aunt"?

“Xiao Bao still calls you Auntie. You’re from different generations, so naturally the way you address each other is different.” Mao Fangfei patiently explained, but how could children understand generational distinctions? Explaining this to them was a waste of breath.

Tongtong stubbornly insisted on calling her grandma, but Fang Yanming smoothed things over, saying, "Let her call you that. She'll understand when she's older."

My niece also said with a smile, "Kids don't do that. They can call her whatever they want, but it just makes Yanming and Fangfei look a generation younger."

"We're fine."

Fang Yanming and Mao Fangfei didn't take it to heart at all. They didn't care about these things in the first place. The reason they corrected her was because they were afraid that their niece would overthink it. Since she had no objection, they naturally had even less objection.

The commotion was averted by the adorable Shi Xiaobao. Shi Junjie was worried that his mother would cause trouble, but his niece couldn't take her eyes off her grandson. She had no time to care about Niuyangchong anymore. Her mind and eyes were only on Xiaobao. Her attitude towards Gao Shengnan improved a lot, and she even talked to her for a while, speaking to her gently.

Gao Shengnan and Shi Junjie both breathed a sigh of relief. It was easier than they had imagined. If they had known that Xiaobao had such a great charm, they would have taken their son back to their hometown much earlier.

"We must go back to our hometown to hold the wedding banquet, and the bride price cannot be less. I also need to meet the in-laws; the proper etiquette cannot be neglected."

As the meal progressed, the atmosphere became increasingly harmonious. The niece made a request: since Gao Shengnan was now a member of the Shi family, she naturally had to follow the rules and hold a grand banquet so that the whole village could see it. This sneaky approach was inappropriate.

Shi Junjie had no objections, of course. He already felt guilty for not being able to give Gao Shengnan a grand wedding, and now he could make up for it.

The family had a very pleasant discussion and everyone was happy.
