Just as Ye Yunxi was about to shoot Hu Huiyi, there was movement behind her. She raised her pistol and looked back warily.
Fu Heng also looked back warily and said in a cold voice.
"Come out, if you don't want to die."
Then Zhang Jing came out of another room.
Ye Yunxi was surprised to find Zhang Jing, Liu Zicheng's wife, walking out.
He asked her coldly, "When did you get here?"
Zhang Jing didn't care about Ye Yunxi's actions or tone of voice, and cautiously asked Ye Yunxi.
Is he dead?
Ye Yunxi nodded, letting Zhang Jing see for herself.
Zhang Jing bypassed Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng, entered the room, and saw Liu Zicheng dead on the floor. Hu Huiyi was sitting trembling in the corner by the bed.
Looking at the dead man on the ground, she felt happy. She didn't regret telling Ye Yunxi these things; on the contrary, she was happy and excited.
Seeing that Hu Huiyi was still alive, Zhang Jing felt a surge of hatred again. She turned to Ye Yunxi and said...
"Can I handle her? Don't worry, I won't let her live. You can all watch."
Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng exchanged a glance. Fu Heng nodded and looked at Zhang Jing, saying...

Zhang Jing nodded gratefully, walked to Liu Zicheng's side, squatted down and picked up the dagger from Liu Zicheng's hand, then stood up and slowly walked towards Hu Huiyi.

Zhang Jing wasn't strong enough to match Hu Huiyi's strength. After all, she hadn't eaten for two days, and her body was a bit weak.
After a few moments of maneuvering, Hu Huiyi forcefully pushed Zhang Jing to the ground and said to her.
"With the strength you've had for the past two days without eating, you think you can kill me? No way."
Zhang Jing was furious and itched to fight back. She then got up, raised the dagger, and stabbed Hu Huiyi again.
Fearing she wouldn't be able to kill Hu Huiyi, Ye Yunxi raised her pistol and shot Hu Huiyi in the wrist.
Hu Huiyi covered her injured area, glanced at it, and glared fiercely at Ye Yunxi.
Just then, Zhang Jing seized the opportunity and raised her dagger to stab Hu Huiyi.
Then Hu Huiyi fell onto the bed, and Zhang Jing got on the bed, raised a dagger in both hands, and stabbed her several more times. Hu Huiyi was thus killed by Zhang Jing.
Zhang Jing looked at the person she had killed, who had released the dagger and dropped it onto the bed, and immediately burst into tears.
She finally got her revenge. Although she didn't kill Liu Zicheng with her own hands, he was dead. Looking back on everything that had happened, her heart ached, but she was also happy.
Seeing Zhang Jing crying, Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng exchanged a glance, and Ye Yunxi comforted her.
“They’re dead now, you should be happy. You shouldn’t cry because of what they did to you. You still have to live your life.”
After hearing Ye Yunxi's words, Zhang Jing looked up and spoke to Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng.

But I lost my job, and to survive, I need to find another one.
Zhang Jing lowered her head, her eyes dim, wondering how she would live in the future.
Ye Yunxi looked at Fu Heng, unsure of what to say.
Fu Heng whispered in her ear.
“Your vegetable garden needs someone to watch over it too. You can take it in and give it to A-Zhe to look after.”
Ye Yunxi nodded. Her vegetable garden did need someone to look after it; it couldn't be just Chen Zhe doing it alone, as that would be too tiring.
Although some of Professor Hu's people came to help oversee things, they were not his own people and had their own jobs to do. They only came to help during planting and harvesting, and didn't come at other times.
Ye Yunxi looked at Zhang Jing and said to her.
"Would you like to come with us? We've planted a vegetable garden and need someone to go and look after it every day. If you're willing to come with us, we'll give you twenty contribution points every month."
When Zhang Jing heard that Ye Yunxi wanted to take her in, she looked up at Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng.
Ye Yunxi thought she was unwilling, so she continued.
“If you are not willing, I can introduce you to work on a plantation.”
Zhang Jing immediately spoke up.
"I'm willing, I'm willing to be with you."
When Ye Yunxi heard Zhang Jing say she wanted to follow her, her expression changed slightly.
"Alright, let's dispose of the body together. You can pack up and continue living here."
Zhang Jing nodded, then shook her head.
"The body can be disposed of, but I won't live here. Once this place is cleaned up, I'll move to the dormitory."
